Great option for Lijiang Old Town + Mandy is the best! Her makes this property worth staying at. Also, the rooms are nice!

The cleanliness of the room and location was perfect. The staff (ie Jing Jing) went above and beyond to make us feel at home. They also helped organize our day trips. The A/C is strong relative to most places we have stayed at in China.

The homestay features family rooms. + The Inn is conveniently located in Lijiang Ancient Town, close to a variety of food options and shops. It’s just an 8-minute walk from the main road, making it easy to catch transportation to other attractions. The room was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully equipped with an electric heating blanket, which kept us warm during the freezing temperatures. Mandy, the Inn Keeper, was exceptionally warm and helpful. On our first day, she had arranged for someone to come pick us up from the drop off so we do not need to drag our heavy luggage on the uneven stone pavement. She also provided valuable tips on navigating the area and shared recommendations on what to explore. She even went the extra mile by preparing sandwiches for us when we had to leave early before breakfast. We would absolutely return to this charming inn in the future!

Dali Zhangjia Garden is 1 km from the homestay, while Dali University is 1.6 km away. The nearest airport is Dali Airport, 16 km from the property. This guest house is excellently located and offers great value for money. It is a five-minute walk from one of the entrances to the old town. It is a very nice hotel and we had a fantastic, spacious room with modern furnishings, which was very clean. There was also a small outdoor terrace and a clothesline for drying clothes. The guest house is run by the owner and his wife, who had a young son. The fact that the owner speaks good English makes things much easier and allows him to recommend other places in beautiful Dali and the surrounding area of Lake Erhai: biking aorund the lake, visiting the nearby town of Xizhou (very beautiful too!) and Zhoucheng (a truly Bai village.) The owner also helped me with some glasses that I had lost on the plane, calling the airport in several occasions. On the day we left, he even took us to the airport in his own car, as he was picking up a friend a little later. If you go to this guest house, be sure to visit the restaurant next door, which specialises in mushrooms (although it serves many other dishes too). You can enjoy your mushrooms in a hot pot. It's a real treat that showcases the flavours of the region, and the staff are extremely friendly and happy to help you try new dishes

Dali Yunxi Boutique Inn features accommodation situated 700 metres from the centre of Dali and provides a garden and a bar. The property has mountain and quiet street views, and is a few steps from Erhai Gate. The accommodation offers airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. This is such a lovely Inn run by a very kind family! They were super helpful and they made sure that I feel comfortable. I left something in the room and they contacted me if they need to post it.

With garden views, TIBET Guest house 虎跳峡卓玛客栈 is located in Shangri-La and has a restaurant, a shared kitchen, bar and garden. The air-conditioned accommodation is 8.2 km from Tiger Leaping Gorge. The guest house provides mountain views, a sun terrace, a 24-hour front desk, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. Good, clean room with a truly awesome view of the gorge. The guesthouse is family run and the owner and his son were both very friendly and helpful, giving us advice on our hiking itinerary, which we weren't totally sure of before arriving. The guesthouse provided all the shuttling services we needed for a reasonable price, dropping us off in the morning at tea-horse guest house and picking us up after we climbed out of the middle gorge scenic area. In addition we were able to pay to get a ride directly to Shangri-La, saving us a lot of trouble and time. The food served was quite tasty too!

The hotel environment is very good and comfortable, and the boss will contact you in advance to arrange for you to pick you up and have free tea and coffee. The boss will also recommend local fun places for you to know that we are going to Yulong Snow Mountain and give us a good accommodation experience by car.
