The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming. The dinners were exceptional—every dish was delicious. They even taught us how to make dumplings and kindly offered us a complimentary lift to the Great Wall. I can’t recommend this place highly enough and would definitely come back!

I chose this hostel as a base for visiting the Great Wall of China. There are a couple of ways to arrive there, the owner provides all the information after booking. My way: from Beijing North Station I took the "Huaimi line of suburban railway" to Gubeikou town. I bought the ticket at the train station 3 hours in advance and it costs 12 CNY. The trip takes ~2,5 h. From the station, a taxi took me to the hostel (~4KM, 20 CNY). It was arranged by the hotel in advance. Once you arrive you find yourself in a kind or yoga retreat. Calmness, tranquility, good vibes. I was lucky enough to have the dorm all to myself. The bunk beds are old styled, no curtains/bed light/bed socket. But my mattress was comfy. The bathroom area is excellent. Lots of toiletries are there for you to choose. And yes, the toilets are Japanese style! For extra payment you can have dinner and breakfast, all chinese style, cooked in their kitchen, mainly vegetarian. And before even settling down, Xiaowei (the owner) tells you everything about the trail you are going to follow the next day. She uses a translation gadget and sends crucial photos of the path through "Wechat" application. She and her assistant Lynn accomodate any need you might have, always smiling and thoughtful.

Establecido a 15 km de Great Wall of China - Simatai, Jinshanling Gubeikou Great Wall聚友缘民宿 ofrece un salón compartido, una terraza y hospedaje climatizado con un patio y WiFi gratis. The host is incredibly helpful and amazing. She is always there to help, if you need anything. The room is very clean and spacious. We loved the place and the surrounding so that we even extended our stay for one more night.

Con Great Wall of China - Simatai a sólo 15 km, Gubeikou Great Wall Yunyeshu Boutique Guesthome tiene hospedaje, restaurante, un jardín, un salón compartido y una terraza. Hay WiFi de cortesía. I honestly loved everything there. It was such a lovely stay. Sue and Jack (the owners) are incredible friendly and so so helpful with everything. They picked me up from the trainstation and made me feel like home. They both cooked incredible good dinner and breakfast every day too. Organized for me to get to the great wall and picked me up again. It was very very nice and I will definitely come back one day!

Extremely kind people. We came off season but still fed and helped. Supported my way there( qite a looon journey!) And nice location. Literally near the Wall

The family is a wonderful host with amazing food, very spacious and clean rooms and perfect location for the Wall-Entrance. A perfect place to relax, to hike and to enjoy the scenery and nature. Very highly recommended!

Atractivamente ubicado en el distrito de Dongcheng District de Beijing, 北京重构空间酒店天安门王府井店 está situado a 3.2 km de Forbidden City, a 3.4 km de Yonghegong Temple y a 3.7 km de Tiananmen Square. Las almohadas y la cama son fabulosas.

Sala de baños también muy buena -comunicación reactiva antes y durante la estancia (aunque el joven no habla inglés pero utiliza la traducción). -recepcionista servicial que vino a buscarnos y llevarnos al parking (íbamos con una niña de 1 año bastante cargados), agradable y eficaz -ubicación: al lado de donde se cogen los autobuses para la gran muralla China. Y desde la puerta del hotel se ve el perfil en la montaña. -decoración (para los frikis): de super Mario y piscina de bolas (para los más pequeños)
