We also appreciated having access to a washer and dryer in the basement, which was especially useful for a longer trip. The apartment itself was beautifully maintained and well-equipped with everything we needed, plus a few extra touches. The large windows offered lovely views, and the outdoor blinds were a great feature, completely blocking out light for sleeping in or for added privacy. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, though that’s to be expected in Switzerland. The fully equipped kitchen and dining area made it easy for us to prepare and enjoy meals together, which added to the cozy, home-like feel of the apartment.

The location is perfect, with easy access to buses and just a few minutes from the train station. I will definitely come back if I have another opportunity.

The property is situated 29 km from Bern Clock Tower, 29 km from Münster Cathedral and 29 km from House of Parliament Bern. There was a farmers' market on the square the first morning there and we stocked up on some supplies. Easy location to train station. Entry is tucked behind the bar which took us a minute to figure out. Beds were very comfortable. Back patio looking onto Thun Castle was a bonus! Thun is not touristy and that was a true delight!

While a little small at first you come to find there is ample space between the corridor, kitchen, washroom and bed area. Daniela took care of the tiny touches. Things like extra towels, basic cooking amenities apart from good utensils covered oil, salt, pepper, coffee, tea, orange juice and more! The view from the room was beautiful, it was all in all a really cozy experience. Even finding an iron added a delight factor since we had a few crumpled clothes from all the suitcase stuffing :) the apartment is a 10 min walk from the train station which brought its own peace and quiet while also being very accessible to all the important areas. We had a wonderful and comfortable stay. I would highly recommend apartment Lala. Daniela is a great hostess and you’re sure to have a cozy stay

The free bus pass that also doubles as a discount pass for certain activities on the Interlaken/Thun area is also a great touch and makes travel by bus all the easier and at no extra cost. When doing activities mention the card to save some money before paying for the activity such as visiting Thun Castle. There was also a fan included within the room which made up for not having control over air conditioning or an overhead fan. The owner who's phone number can be accessed via WhatsApp is also very kind and responsive. She was wonderful!
