The location is outside the busy city center but only a short walk away from downtown. The owner is extremely nice and accommodating and the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. If I am ever back in Bruges, I will definitely stay here again.

The room was well furnished, nicely equipped and quite charming. The toiletries were nice and the coffee pods and machines were a welcome treat. Also liked the complimentary bottles of water. All this in a quiet location close to one of the canals.

This guest house features free private parking and luggage storage space. Outdoor seating is also available at the guest house. There's absolutely nothing not to like about Hidden Gem. It is spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, has comfy beds and even a fridge with a small selection of beverages should you get thirsty at inconvenient hours. Katrien received us personally, greeted us like we were old friends, and was generally very helpful. She gave us tips and directions, even had prepared a little map with the key features of Bruges. She even knew where to find the stop for the Flix Bus! :-D It's a shame we were only staying for one night as the property itself is so beautiful. We'll definitely be coming back for a longer stay. Hidden Gem is located literally opposite the main station in a small side road, but you can't hear a thing - no traffic, no trains, no people. A dream!
