It was a very pleasant experience: the rooms are decorated in a simple but modern and practical way - they were also quite spacious and impeccably clean. Dorothea was so friendly, sweet and helpful to us. Upon our arrival she gave us useful information about the local services and restaurants, and a map with routes for hiking, which made our planning process so much easier since it was our first time in this beautiful region! Every morning we had breakfast at Lisas, which was so varied, fresh and delicious, before going off for a hike around the area. The landscape in Bregenzerwald was breathtaking. There are so many hiking options, and despite the neighbouring villages being quite small, there are plenty of options for trying the local food and drinks, as well as supermarkets and other services, even in the summer. In a nutshell, we had such a lovely stay and would love to come back sometime!

The next bus stop as well as the cable car are at a stones‘ throw from the guesthouse Beautiful lodge. Our hosts, Helen and Manfred were warm and welcoming. Renata and Sanja looked after us really well. The rooms were well appointed. Manfred’s micro-brewed beers were delicious. Great location in the village.

Bregenz is 18 km away, and the property offers free shuttle service to the Bregenzer Festspiele Festival. The breakfast was delicious. Prepared with much love. The breakfast was very tasty and lovingly prepared. A very varied selection of cheeses, cold meats, eggs to order, fruit, yoghurt, müesli, honey etc. The hosts were very friendly and replenished the buffet constantly. Freshly brewed coffee, newspapers and the daily weather forecast too. They served us with humour and made us feel very welcome. Parking available directly on the premises.
