Family-run for over 300 years, Gasthof Post in Rennweg is just off the A10 motorway and a 5-minute drive from the Katschberg Ski Area. It offers a sauna, steam bath, and free Wi-Fi. The restaurant serves traditional Austrian and Carinthian cuisine. We enjoyed our stay at Gasthof Post very much. Traditional Austrian decor with the hints of modern was exactly what we wanted. Super clean, comfortable bads and specious rooms. Great Austrian hospitality.

The homestay offers bed linen, towels and housekeeping service. Owners are fantastic. They had an accident in our room with a burst pipe on our arrival day so they had to cancel our stay. But I had no internet access as my mobile got stuck so I did not see their reports of cancellation. When we arrived they arranged a new accomodation for us and paid for it. What's professional approach!👍

The room is very spacious, we stayed in a triple room with a breathtaking mountain view. Everything was very clean, the pension owners are extremely friendly, very good hosts. The beds are very comfortable, we slept very well, that's very important if you have problems with your back and are a bad sleeper like me. I can't recommend it enough, i wouldn't change it for any 4,5 star hotel even if it was for free.
