After hiking from Theth we searched for this guesthouse for a while, but luckily very nice and kind neighbours live there and showed us the right house. Our host didn't speak English and Google translate into Albanian didn't work well either. So there was a language barrier but it was fun. Our host called his daughter, who speaks very good English, so we worked out what we needed. We were lucky to be able to stay at this guesthouse because our hosts looked after us so nicely and we really appreciated their hospitality. We really enjoyed delicious dinner and breakfast as we sat on the balcony and watched the beautiful mountain scenery and pets running around in the backyard.

The location was stunning and absolutely perfect for hiking - it sits right next to a smaller trail up one of the mountains, and a short (10mins) walk to the Valbona - Theth trailhead. The rooms were very well fitted, clean and comfortable. The host was extremely attentive and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of during the stay and in helping me retrieve a lost item after. Would highly recommend.

Dinner and breakfast were both amazing, and as farm to table as you can get, down to the honey and cheese, made by the owner. I was in a room with three single beds. My room shared a modern, clean washroom with another bedroom upstairs. Staying at this guesthouse, meeting the owners and enjoying the meals has been a highlight of my trip to Albania. I wish I had stayed longer!
