Location is perfect, close to everything. Facilities are very clean. Staff is lovely and ready to help with everything. You can have breakfast in “sister” Shoki Shoki house. Reliable wifi. Hostel provides bottle of water which is a very nice touch! There is also an equiped kitchen with fridge, kettle and even little stove. Rooms have AC.

Everything was soo awesome. The room for guest had a very comfortable bed, smart tv and shower with hot water :) the garden is so lovely, i love plants a lot and this was really paradise for us. Our host speak english very well and is so nice, he is helpfull human and we really feel like in home. House is located near to Ston town. We can use dala -dala, 8 km and you can join wonderful beaches and a lot of different places. Is no in tourist place and we love it! When you decide chose Mama's house, you can live between local people, talk with them, see their culture and just have fun.

Large clean room in a secure house. Room has fan and air con so very adaptable to whatever temperature you like - I got too cold with the air con on. The communal bathroom and kitchen are kept nice and clean too. Central location and easy to walk to areas in stone town. The staff are super friendly too, and they responded quickly on booking.com messages. Would stay here again if back in stone town.

It was wonderful being able to spend nights in an authentically traditional building with traditional rooms and furniture. It was an excellent way to explore the traditional architecture and decoration of old Zanzibar. The location is perfect. Just behind the famous praying temple and just 5 minutes to the water shores. The owner is very friendly and always eager to make your stay comfortable. The price is reasonable given the excellent location and the traditional environment. This place is a must!
