Such a fun holiday in this lovely B&B! I love the historic details of the home, the large size for our family, and the close proximity to the old street.

The balcony, and the location. And when the earthquake hit, I felt safe. It was decorated nicely.

The host was so nice! They are very talkative and caring but can only speak mandarin.

Beautiful views, from the room and especially the breakfast area on the third floor. kind and helpful staff, sparkling clean rooms, a little light on sound insulation but other guests were quiet so this wasn't a problem (and we expected it based on the building's location, age, and charm)

Our room was cozy, television was huge and handy for use during the rainy periods. It is also close to Jiufen Old Town.

We loved this place and everything about it. The host is lovely—she gave us many recommendations, ensured we knew what trains to take for our outings, gave us small gifts and goodies, offered to help us get laundry washed, and provided flexibility with check in and check out. All this she did with patience and a smile, even though we could not speak Mandarin and had to rely on translation apps. The location is excellent—walking distance to several buses and trains to nearby Jiufen, Shifen Waterfall, Bitoujiao, Keelung, and other great spots. The room itself is quiet, comfortable, and spacious with great lighting. It seems very clean and modern, with nothing out of date and everything functioning perfectly. It is well-appointed and nicely laid out. Guests have access to water, a refrigerator, a tea kettle, coffee, and fast/consistent WiFi. The toiletries and soaps were luxury, and we took note of the shower gel in particular so we can buy it to take home. This place is exceptional value, easy to book and find, and offered us complete privacy and autonomy. The host provided great communication from our initial booking until we said goodbye. Overall we give this hotel our highest recommendation—it was our favorite hotel of the 4 we stayed in on our visit throughout the island. The next time we come to the Taipei area, we will stay here.

Super clean, comfortable and calm accomodation with parking space. I can highly recommend. Great location to catch the bus to the Jioufen Old Street (bus stop is 2 mins away).

It's situated at the highest point of Jiufen, the 3rd floor is the tallest vantage point of the entire Jiufen available for homestay. The amenities and furnishings are as deluxe as any 5 star hotel that I've stayed in before (and I have travelled a lot). The best part is the alfresco table and chairs which allows you to have a cold drink at night or a hot coffee in the morning looking at the sunrise 🌅. Did I say that the bed was fantastic too? It's Simmons!
