We stayed in Mudan because we had rented our own car and thought it would be a good base for exploring the surrounding area, e.g. Shifen, Fulong, etc. And it was perfect for that, everything is close by but Mudan is so quiet and peaceful. We ate dinner in Shuangxi both nights, which is a 10 minute drive away. The host is lovely, and his English is perfectly fine for instructions and for some conversation.

Very conveniently located, extremely clean. It was a very relaxing space to go back to every evening. Enzo cafe downstairs was also lovely.

This hotel was absolutely stunning! It was easy to find after following the instructions given by the staff (through email) and so close to the main streets of Jiufen. The views were amazing and the room itself was also very well decorated. It was so clean and roomy and worth every penny. It was also less than a minute walk to a famous taro ball shop which was also nice! Will definitely book again if coming to Jiufen!

Mountain Sea Bay B&B is a beautiful home stay in the heart of Juifen Old Street. The Owner sent us a message with pictures to make sure we wouldn’t get lost and was patient and lovely about our non existent mandarin. The room was spacious and clean, with beautiful views. The owner took time and gave us a handmade map of Juifen with the most important sites in regards to the b&b.

Very large extremely clean room, excellent powerful and hot shower. Home stay was very well thought out, provided games, chargers, everything you could possibly need. Stunning views from large picture window. Breakfast was very good, freshly made chicken rice, with fruit.

The location was very good, the view was terrific, the hostess was exceptional. Very helpful, even to the point of carrying our bags herself up the stairs. The inn did not provide breakfast, but provided a variety of packaged breakfast pastries that we could help ourselves to, plus coffee and tea.
