We spent the New Year's eve and two more nights in the house. We immediately fall in love with the accomodation and the neighborhood. The house is surrounded with magical Slovenian forest by Juilana trail, the breathtaking Tolmin gorge is just a short drive away, and several more treasures of the Triglav National Park can be easily explored from here. But if you just want to chill inside you can enjoy the beautiful view from your room or right next to the fireplace. The house gives you the feeling that you are home, the whole place is just super cozy, literally my dream house. The renovated old furnitures and every pieces of this house have something to tell from the good old days and have something you need to experience. You can use the well equipped kitchen for whatever you need but also there is the option to order delicious breakfast made by the host. Many other facilities makes your stay special. The whole space is fulfilled with the hospitality of the hosts. We only met with Roger. He smiles all the time and he is super friendly. If you want some company for sure he is there with his stories but also he leaves you space if you need some time alone. He gave us some advices where it's worth to hike or what is worth to visit, and he offerd to drive us to the next village on New Year's eve to watch the fireworks and experience the local "fun". These days felt like we stayed at one old friend's home. More than recommended!!

The room was very beautiful, neat and clean. The location is perfect - close to the center and in a quiet and nice area. The landlady is very kind. I definitely recommend it.

Apartment was located in 3 apartment building for guests - during our stay we were the only ones, therefore nobody bother us or did we. The pool was great refreshment! Otherwise - quite remote area. The apartment had a conditioner in the main room. Bathroom is located next to sleeping room (so, no privacy for adults, if kids are walking through the room for bathroom :) ). The bathroom was quite warm place due to the water-boiler which heated up the room a lot, meanwhile the water stream was uneven from hot to cold, but it wasn`t too critical - maybe some upgrade for boiler would be needed. Kitchen rather small and basic - if hosts would place there some salt & sugar, it would be great :)

We stayed for three nights in August 2025. The location in Volče village is very convenient for exploring the Soča Valley, with Tolmin only a few minutes away. The hosts are extremely attentive, and the instructions for self-check-in and parking were very clear. We arrived late at night and had no trouble finding the accommodation. Communication with the host, Alma, was excellent throughout our stay. The room, bed, and bathroom are brand new and very comfortable after a day of hiking. The linens and towels are of very nice quality. The shared kitchen and dining area are well equipped with utensils, fridge, cafetieras, and more. Everything is spotless — clean, clean, clean! We loved our stay and plan to come back!

We had a great stay at Hiša Vuga! The place is super clean, cozy, and very comfortable. Barbara was a wonderful host, friendly, helpful, and full of great tips for exploring the area. Thanks to her, we got to visit some beautiful and historic spots we wouldn’t have found on our own. Highly recommended!

Room was small but had everything, and was not too small. Beds were ok, very clean. The common dinning area and bathrooms were very clean and the kitchen was ok.
