The setting, in the countryside , rolling mountains and absolutely amazing vistas! A family run business, I was put up in the 200 year old beautiful converted to separate apartments! I ended up staying 2 extra nights and all was super comfortable, clean tidy and cosy ! Owners were friendly,helpful welcoming and the daughter was great to talk with and gave me some good insights into my questions of life there !! There were a few thunderstorms and they insisted I put my car in the barn! Great food on offer ,traditional Slovenia food! The breakfast included was amazing, varied ,filling and tasty! Overall amazing stay and 4 nights could of been longer ! The self contained apartment was spacious, a few old family photos of the olden days were adorned and the big old brick heater was still there ! Fabulous bathroom, all very clean! Comfortable bed. Even a safety deposit box in the wardrobe. Great stay and throughly recommended! All photos are an accurate representation of this amazing family run guesthouse

Very kind and flexible host. They also offered us their house made wine as welcome. Two very clean and nice rooms upstairs of a modern farmhouse with its own private entrance. Our 2yo toddler loved the animals on the farm. Breakfast was exceptionally great! The host also offered the possibility to charge our EV. Absolutely 10/10 place

The friendliness of the stuff (restaurant as well as Hotel) was really exceptional. The hotel is clean and in a perfect condition, even the shower sprays into desired directions (smile). The rooms offer enough space and despite located roadside it was quiet inside. We are a group of motorcyclists and find best conditions in the area. We consider another (longer) stay in the future to explore as many of the small roads in the closer and more far areas. For bikers with lower experience in planning their tours the hotels offers a lot of tour suggestions. The restaurant serves really very good meals. Breakfast is sufficient on its average level. To be honest, the only thing we did not appreciate was the (very low) temperature of ham and eggs and the size and hardness of the small round breads. Not a big issue, do not see it as complaint but a feedback. It can easily be corrected. In general: thank you, GROF for a comfortable stay!!
