Chalet Ficalho was absolutely gorgeous, it exceeded every expectation. The garden and the pool were stunning and so relaxing, the owners were delightful to be around and the Chalet in itself is a gem, with wonderfully decorated and restored interiors and very confortable rooms. Depending on the purpose of your stay, the location is okay. The room had modern furniture, ample bedding, excellent hot water, heating, quiet, WiFi, tastefully decorated, enough storage space, detergent, everything a traveller would need. Host was friendly, polite, and very helpful. Highly recommend.

The hotel is very centrally situated, yet is unbelievably private (even more so than is visible from the pictures). The hotel is beautiful, rooms are clean and spacious. The staff is hands down the friendliest, most helpful and polite that I have met during my travels.

Location was really good. Right on the beach and close to the shops, bars a restaurants. The staff were wonderfully warm and welcoming. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was good. We had a good selection of delicious bread and pastries to choose from.
