Situated in a very quiet neighborhood, this place is just perfect for relaxing, but still is minutes away from the animated street of Anton Valley. The big patio and hammock overlooking the large garden were perfect for relaxing. Big, beautiful garden with many birds. The hot spring pool was huge and pretty and the temperature was perfect day and night. The house was sparkling clean. The bed and linens were clean and very comfortable. Owners were super friendly and helpful and were always instantly responsive over phone!

We were welcomed by the kindest hosts we ever met, Ayled and Gilberto are very friendly and helped us a lot. The view from the house is phenomenal (overlooking the valley). It is peaceful and quiet. The room was amazing, especially the view. We could also use the well equipped kitchen to prepare food which helped a lot. The tap water (drinkable, filtered) comes from the mountain and tastes great.

The hostel started operating very recently but they have a great concept and are definitely doing a wonderful job! Despite selecting the dorm option, you have plenty of privacy thanks to the design of the beds (the room with 4 beds looks like 4 little rooms). There’s a well equipped kitchen that you’re welcome to use, pool and tennis table. There’s a big TV in the common area in case you are coming with friends and want to have a movie night. The WiFi was fast and stable (I had to work during my stay and never had any issues). The host was kind and helpful - he was always available in case you need anything and definitely goes above and beyond to make sure you have a great time in El valley de Anton. He offered advice where to hike, even offered transportation as I was alone, and also assisted me to find a shuttle to my next destination (I was struggling to figure that out because most companies required a minimum of 4ppl to book a shuttle). I feel like I found not only a host but a friend and will be happy to visit again!

It was a great place to stay. They were really helpful after another place canceled our reservation on the spot. The room had enough space and kitchen essentials for a couple. The pool looked amazing, though we didn’t have time to use it. I’d like to go back.

Great location right near the trail head of La India Dormida. The owner Ariel went out of his way to make us feel at home and make our travels easy. He is probably the most hospitable host we have ever encountered in our travels. He met us in town at the bus stop and offered to drop us off at the bus stop when we were leaving. He is very knowledgeable about the town and activities, and loves to share music and stories. The communal spaces are very homely, there is a big backyard space and a river alongside the property.

Altos del Maria -mountaine views is a recently renovated homestay in Sorá, where guests can make the most of its private beach area and open-air bath.

Exceptionally clean and beautifully maintained place — both the bedroom and bathroom were spotless. The breakfast was outstanding — everything natural and homegrown from the garden. The salsa with oregano was especially delicious, along with the spinach omelet. Elegant tableware, absolute tranquility, and breathtaking views made the stay even more special.

Very good communication with owner - the lady was very helpful, very clean linen, good kitchen corner, nice to seat at the pool terrasse, situated very close the city of the small town - everything withing the walking distance, incl. San Carlos beach.
