Everything. Service: We felt so well taken care of. We were even walked around the island the first night, the owner showed us the bikini beach and some shops and also explained about the local plants and foods we passed. They really made an effort to make you feel comfortable. They picked us up and dropped us off at the port and organized the speedboat for us. Food: Breakfast was included, you can choose between Maldivian or Continental. We really enjoyed the local food there. You can preorder lunch and dinner as well, I highly recommend doing that! The fish and the currys and the desserts tasted great. Room: The rooms are spacious, very very clean und well maintained. AC worked well. Everything is new and in perfect condition.

My recent stay at Escapism Maldives on Feridhoo Island was an absolute delight. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the: Prime Location: 1. The guesthouse was conveniently close to everything! A short walk took me to the beautiful bikini beach, the island's restaurants, and even the arrival port. 2. Spotless and Inviting Rooms: My room was exceptionally clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated. It provided a comfortable and relaxing haven throughout my stay. 3. Delicious Meals: The breakfast was fantastic, offering both local and continental options. I was also thoroughly impressed with the dinner options. 4. Top-Rated Hospitality: The staff at Escapism Maldives were incredibly friendly and helpful. They were always available to answer questions, arrange activities, and ensure a truly enjoyable stay. I would also mantion: 1. Tranquil Atmosphere: Feridhoo Island itself offered a peaceful and serene environment, perfect for those seeking to escape the hustle and bustle. 2. Memorable Activities: The guesthouse staff helped me organize some fantastic activities, including snorkeling and canoeing, which allowed me to fully experience the beauty of the Maldivian waters. Overall, Escapism Maldives exceeded my expectations and provided an unforgettable Maldivian experience. I highly recommend this charming guesthouse to anyone seeking a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway in paradise.

Absolutely everything was perfect - the rooms, the facilities, a beautiful lounge area, nice garden in the middle and super new and modern buildings. But the best was certainly the staff who took care of us from the moment we arrived at the port to the moment they said goodbye at the port. We were shown around the island, and in the water snorkelling, they arranged super nice small-group excursions to for us to swim with Mantas and sharks and visit sandbanks and picnic islands. Whenever the staff had the chance to make our stay in Feridhoo or in the guesthouse an even more memorable experience they would do it. From moonlight beach walk to local island culture. Thanks a lot again, we‘ll never forget those lovely days!

Home away from Home We can highly recommend this hidden gem retreat as it really gives you all you need (and more!) when you decide to stay on a local Maldives island. The couple who runs the place - Azmyl and his charming wife - really went out of their way to make us feel welcome and they looked after us for our whole stay in Feridhoo. Their kindness shone through their honest smile from the very first minute. Every extra wish we had they made sure was granted as soon as. When we needed a transfer from another island, Azmyl not just organised the boat for us, he actually came to meet us and took the whole boat ride with us. We couldn’t be more grateful, really; we are definitely coming back to this little piece of Heaven (sooner rather than later, I hope!) As our travel companions - a couple – had have stayed at Castaway 3 years ago, we’ve already had a grasp of how lovely this place really is. And it sure did not disappoint! Needless to say, the place is spotless, they clean the rooms every day to the highest standards (you’ll get fresh bottled water daily as well!). Each room have aircon and a modern ceiling fan as well. You have good WIFI connection too. Our friends have chosen one of the rooms with the open ceiling bathroom (as they did 3 years ago) and they really loved the experience! As I am not that adventurous, I really appreciated the option with the ‘normal’ bathroom too! The whole property is kept nice and tidy at all times, it looks and feels like a little oasis with white sand on the yard floor, the jungle like greeneries and the wooden furniture (see photos) And now get to my favourite subject: FOOD! 10/10 (again, see photos) Not joking! They are amazing with their food and with the serving too! They cook everything on the spot at the retreat’s kitchen with the help of other locals. Everything is freshly picked and cooked just before they serve it to you.

Awesome stay in beautiful guesthouse on an amazing island. Staff was extremely helpful and helped us with anything, also being very flexible on trips, arrangements, payments etc.

Ideal accommodation option. A clean and comfortable room that has everything you need: a comfortable bed, ample storage space, a refrigerator and even a safe. Nice bathroom. The room was cleaned immediately after our request. The nearest exit to the sea is just 2 minutes on foot. The hotel has its own sun loungers on the bikini beach, and they also provide beach towels. Ali and his family were very hospitable and always helped with any questions. From the hotel owner we learned a lot of important and interesting information about the culture and traditions of the locals, we even talked about politics :) Before we left, Ali prepared a free amazing traditional Maldivian dinner for us, it was amazing! The hotel also has very tasty local breakfasts; we ate only them during our stay. Thanks to Ali and his family, we will definitely return to Feridhoo!

The rooms were really clean, smelled good. Staff were attentive and made sure we were comfortable. The breakfast buffet was really nice with a combination of Maldivian and continental options. The hotel staff, especially Razeen, was very helpful.

Exceptional location with WOW views. Beautiful huge very clean palm grove in front of the hotel. . Small bnb type hotel. Good responses to questions; efficient port pick up and drop off. Courteous staff. Let me stay in my room until my ferry came- a big bonus. Best location on the island. Incredible view from balcony(family room 6 or the double next to it, I think, 5). Sea views-sunsets -super. Quiet location Good air con, good shower. Nice beds and linen. Hot water works fine. I highly recommend this hotel. I would definitely return.

This guesthouse meets every need a guest could wish for, making it the perfect place to relax. The sandy beaches as well as the center of Mathiveri (market, fantastic bakery etc.) are just a short walk from Velana Vibes. The place is new, clean and well cared for. The design is thoughtful - functional, but also ensuring privacy for guests. But what makes Velana Vibes truly special... are the people. Munzir, the owner, is the soul of the place and Imma, the manager, is its heart. We have never met such a sincere and genuinely warm team. That includes the friendly owner, the incredibly dedicated manager and the always-helpful kitchen staff. They all put their whole hearts into making our stay special and unforgettable - and they succeeded! They were always there if we had questions. They organized everything - whether it was a golf cart tour of the island, snorkeling, fishing, fish barbecues or filming us on jet ski with a drone - and made our holidays even more enjoyable. Personally, I would like to give special thanks to Imma for the private snorkeling lesson :-) I can’t swim, but he offered to help me so that I also could see the underwater world - and he kept his promise. Even though the weather wasn’t perfect, he took me and my family to a calm beach where we snorkeled together. I will never forget the experience of my very first snorkel, where I felt completely safe the whole time! At Velana Vibes, we enjoyed the comfort of a good hotel, but among the team, we felt at home - surrounded by people who genuinely wanted the best for us. Everyone made sure our stay in this wonderful place was unique and unforgettable. Although we usually don’t return to the same place twice, we truly hope to come back to Velana Vibes someday.
