Such a sweet family. The breakfast was enough for double the amount of people. The room is very clean and has a nice balcony. They also booked us a tuktuk and came with us to the bus station to make sure we get on the right bus safely. We felt so welcome and comfortable.

Hidden gem in the sri lanka, we received a welcome coconut and also a leaving drink. The owners are so kind!! They arranged a safari for us for 16400 rupees (54€) and it was awesome, it included a huge breakfast in the middle of yala national park. You also get a coffee/tea and bananas before the safari starts.

I had an amazing stay with Priya! If you are searching for a host that goes far and beyond to make your stay perfect and feeling comfortable, you really need to stay here! He picked me up at the bus station, went with me in the evening on a lagoon safari, his wife made the perfect dinner (you can choose from a diverse menu), arranged a perfect early morning safari (and even woke up to make coffee/tea and some snacks!) And afterwards brought me to the bus to Tangalle and even put me on the bus! Thank you so much for this experience Priya and family! ☺️

The site is a 10 and the room is also excellent. Often in hotels they are annoying and insistent so that you hire excursions, transportation, etc. with them, but this has not been the case. I saw the rice harvesting process.

It is a modest but wonderful accommodation close to Yala National Park. The accommodation is run by a very nice family. Everyone is still smiling and offering sweet tea. Here you feel more like a welcome member of the family than just a guest. The room has everything you need. There is a comfortable bed a fan and a clean bathroom. There is a wonderful quiet sitting area outside with a view of the rice field. Here you can watch the birds feeding. What more could a traveler ask for? At the end of my stay they went with me to the main street and made sure I got on the right bus. Thanks for that! It was great at your place! Thank you for your hospitality and for the perfect chat in the morning with the view from your garden! I really appreciate it. It was great! I wish you many happy guests and good luck with your plans to expand your business with more tables in your restaurant! I keep my fingers crossed for you! Great job! This Guesthouse and it's owner is the best I have ever seen. They really do everything to be okay,, comfortable and happy. You can organize a safari to Yala National Park, to the Bird Sanctuary, to the different lakes and he can take you to the next place you want to go. We had fresh fish for dinner and an exceptional breakfast. It was just great! We really love our stay!!!

We loved our stay at Yala Grand Homestay. The rooms impress with tasteful interior design, the place is peacefully located under palm trees next to rice paddies and the owners are so helpful and friendly, they will make your stay a great experience. Kasun is very knowledgeable about Sri Lankan wildlife and can take you on safari if you want. He is also a guide/driver for traveling his home country and can give you great recommendations and advice. His wife is a great cook and will make you feel right at home.
