When we first went, Mr. Mohan welcomed us with a smile. He was very polite. Even though we stayed at home, we had the comfort of a hotel. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The rooms have air conditioning. special refrigerator. We had breakfast together and chatted. The pool was great fun. It was a very nice experience for me. It was my best 5 days in Colombo. If I come again I will meet Mr. Mohan again.

I recently stayed at a room I rented for a few nights in Maharagama, Sri Lanka. While the location was outside Colombo, I found it to be incredibly peaceful away from the city hustle. The room itself was clean, simple, and excellent value for the price. What really stood out, though, was the landlord. He was exceptionally friendly and helpful, addressing all my queries and offering great tips about the area. I appreciated his hospitality and would recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful stay near Colombo.

Welcoming and calm. Highbury Colombo is like a sea of tranquility. Manuji and her husband are attentive hosts and the space with garden is really beautiful. My room was excellent and food (lunch and breakfast the next day) was delicious. Highly recommend this place

A true gem! This boutique hotel exceeded all expectations. The interior design is absolutely stunning. Every detail, from the furniture to the lighting, reflects a perfect balance between modern comfort and timeless local charm. The staff were exceptional – warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming.     Great host. Really helpful in nature, peaceful location, a bit farther away from main attraction area of Colombo, a bike/scooter/tuk tuk/bus needed for commuting between Galle face, Pettah, Fort area. Great budget option. Really homestay like feeling, finally stayed there for more than one instances, the owner became a friend, still in connection with her. Without a word she agreed to keep our luggage when we were out of Colombo for further journey. Would like to repeat the same option of staying here.

    Shiranthi is a lovely host. She gave us a lot of useful information and made us tea every morning. The location is a little outside of Colombo but reachable very easily and cheap by local bus. It felt like home for 3 nights. We would definitely recommend
