AMAZING view, amazing food, great and sweet staff. Really nice pool. Great walks in the area. We also visited the tea factory which was very insightful. Some grey hornbills right outside our window ♥️ We felt very comfortable and at home and at ease at Rangala House. Highly recommend to stay! Don’t doubt, book!

From the roof terrasse you see the five Knucles Peaks. Three waterfalls are within walking distance. And the coffee and tea, you drink is from the small estate around the House. Don’t expect Hilton-style-luxury. Expect something much better! This is a homestay on it’s way to become a small hotel. Very personal service from the owner, Rohan, who is a man of the world with many years of travel behind him. He speaks good english and is ready to help with directions for the easy hikes, and get you in contact with a local skilled guide to the mountains (necessary!) His own estate offers a beautiful short hike: From the top, you have a 360-view of the many peaks around it. Possibly the most beautiful place in the world. Go! (Nb! Remember to bring Long pants, leech-socks, leech-protection-balm and bud-reppelant. Then you will be fine.)

Absolutely perfect! My family of four recently stayed at Cottage 2010. The cottage was spotless upon arrival, and the cleanliness was impressive throughout. The ambience felt cozy and inviting, like a true home away from home, with thoughtful decor that enhanced the warmth of the space. The service was exceptional; the staff was attentive and made us feel welcome, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. We booked the accommodation at the last minute. It's a lovely place with a beautiful view nestled between the tea fields. The old house is tastefully furnished, with very friendly staff and an excellent kitchen. There is a private waterfall on the estate that is truly worth visiting. We were very satisfied and would return anytime.

Differnt like in Sri Lanka the pictures doesn't show You how great is the place. Clean, comfortable, nice smell, european standard. Great working air condition, HOT WATER. Even that the place is difficult to find don't worry about - the owner will guide You from the orientation point - shop. You can reach the point with the car even if it's upway. The owner is really good person. He will tell You about all wat's worth to see around. He will help You with the organisation transport without extra charge fir him. There is an area with kitchen, living room with sofas and tv for use for everybody. But the most important thing is the view. It's realy 360. We can adwise the room with the big windows on the corner where You can enjoy the sunrise from the bed. The host, the wiev, quality and price makes this place the best to stay in Kandy for more than one night.
