The owner was very nice to me. He offered me free drining water and arranged it himself. Two times I got lost, I couldn't find my way to the guest house, since it's a bit further inside from the main road. He was very kind to come and pick me with his motorcycle. The room and toilet was newly built and clean. AC was working perfectly fine, although during night I didn't need it. The bed was comfortable and huge. He also provided me with cutleries when I needed. There's public transport available to Pollonaruwa 10 minutes walking distance from the place. Getting a Tuktuk might be a bit challenging.

It's a nice little homestay tucked away from the strip. It truly is a 5 min walk from Lion Roc, so great location. The major point is that it's run by two lovely people. The owner offered to take me to Pidurangula at 4.30am because it was too far to walk. Then he cooked an incredible breakfast. Such a great place. I'd recommend it to everyone

Staying there was the best decision I made in this trip. Not only the hotel facilities were perfect, but also Saman and his family were really friendly and helpful. They helped me with arranging everything and gave me ideas for planning my trip. Beautiful property, felt comfortable and homely. The hosts were amazing and helped with arranging activities and tours in the area. Breakfast was delicious and hosts could not be more accommodating, also providing fruit juices/tea or coffee. Could not recommend having dinner at the property enough! Amazing home cooked Sri Lankan style food, which is some of the best food we’ve had!

We had a wonderful experience at Yashi’s place. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully maintained, making it a perfect retreat after a long day. Duminda and his family are truly exceptional hosts. They really cared about us with love. The breakfast was one of a kind with a great variety of different local food. The mountain view was unique, the treehouse was spacious and the shower inside the house with no ceiling was sg. I never had before: it really felt like in the jungle but with the perfect privacy.

Location is amazing in the Jungle Family owned Heartly welcomed by the Family Owner took care, organised Safari and made a private Tuk Tuk Tour with us for a reasonable price. Also his wife cooked traditional dinner for us (Not included in price, but thats completely ok) During night and day we saw and heard a lot of different animals. I would recommend the Tree House any time, especially for backpacker if you want to see the sri lankan Daily life.
