Everything was awesome 😎. Staff very attentive and friendly. Comfortable room, lovely big bed, clean linen, etc etc... and having a kettle was a bonus. Breakfast was very nice.

This guesthouse is an absolute gem. My room was very clean, beautifully decorated, and had a lovely private outdoor seating area. Breakfasts were a feast! Delicious Sri Lankan dishes kept appearing on the table, and any other time of the day the family kept offering me some tea. One of the highlights of my stay was the cooking class with Sudesh’s mom. I heard great things about in the reviews and I'm so glad I decided to do it as well. It was a great experience and everything we cooked was absolutely delicious! The location, while a little off the beaten track, offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside. While getting an Uber or PickMe can sometimes be a bit tricky due to its more remote location, the family arranged transportation for me whenever needed. What truly sets this guesthouse apart is the incredible family who runs it. They were all simply amazing, going above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. I honestly can't recommend this guesthouse enough. It's the perfect place to experience true Sri Lankan hospitality, enjoy delicious food, and immerse yourself in the beauty of the Kandy region.

Super beautiful view from the room/teracce, nice plants/garden on the terace. Very kind and nice owner and also whole his family - they prepared for us caffe/tea everyday. Clean room and bathroom. Kitchen with fridge, which we could use.

We stayed for 3 nights and it was just the best. First thing - the place - clean, comfortable, quiet with great view from terrace. Second - food - tasty, fresh made. Our stay at this hotel was nothing short of magical! Perched atop a stunning hill surrounded by a lush forest, the hotel offered breathtaking views in every direction. Our room had windows on three sides, allowing us to witness the mesmerizing dance of the clouds right beside us—it felt like living in a dream. What made our experience even more special was the hotel's exceptional management. The owner, a distinguished aerospace engineer, took care of us like a caring brother, ensuring every detail of our stay was perfect. The staff were incredibly polite, energetic, and kind, always ready to assist with a warm smile. Beyond the spectacular scenery and outstanding hospitality, we created some of the most beautiful family memories here. The tranquil atmosphere, combined with the warmth of the people, made this a truly unforgettable getaway. The view and the calm surroundings were the main attraction of this beautiful property. The early morning view will surely take your breath away. Hideaway home stay is a very clean place. The host and his family's hospitality were great. The food tasted super. They provided us with scrumptious lunch, dinner, and breakfast for a very minimal cost. The host went out of his way to take us to a beautiful seanic location called Ambuluwawa. All of us (including our grown-up kids) enjoyed the stay very much, and we are looking forward to surely visiting again.
