The house is nice and cozy surrounded by lush greenery. It has calm and positive vibe. The family who runs the accommodation is very kind. There was also an option to order a dinner. The owner offered to take us by tuk-tuk to visit the tower.

We arrived by bicycle after climbing 1200m. So we were exhausted! Straight away, we were shown to our room, where we could change out of our stinky clothes, and served hot tea. The view from bed was stunning - overlooking a lush valley with a thousand shades of green. Squirrels scuttled around the plants on the balcony, bringing into sharp focus how lucky we were to be living in nature. Our host prepared an authentic Sri Lanka meal from scratch, and we ooooohed and aaaahed all the way through. It was difficult to leave the comfort of the home the next morning, but we managed. Lovely friendly hosts. So warm and kind.

We had the most wonderful stay here. The hosts are very special people, who welcome you with open arms into their family home. The room was very comfortable and we slept so deeply! Piyal was a total gentleman. He was hospitable, informative, and efficient. He organised transport for us ( both during and onwards)made phone calls and booked the cultural show for us. I think he spoke better English than me!!! The Grove itself is beautiful. It had all the facilities required ( no refrigerator in room or kettle but filter water available on tap in the shared lounge and Tea/ coffee on request). It was spotlessly clean. Dinner was available via the hotel next door- it was brought over for you so you wouldn't really have noticed. Beer was also available. There was also a pool next door, a 3 minute walk. It has spectacular views- one of the highlights of the Grove.

100% recomended, everything was perfect, room was extra clean, Ayesha and her husband totally stole our hearts, they helped us a lot, organised delicious dinner and breakfast, even organised train tickets, helped with luggage and place in the train!!! Wow! Best hosting service ever! 100/10 ☺️

The hosts were generous and courteous and extraordinarily helpful. I have arrived pretty early and went to have a nap strstraightaway. When I woke up they have prepared a lovely lunch. Some other days too they have arranged wonderful dinner for me. They offered me traditional Sri Lankan Avrudu sweets with tea as well. The hosts have gone an extra mile to keep the guest happy and safe, gave me free lifts several occasions. Thank you guys. You are just amazing. The room was super spacious, with aircon and ensuite bathroom with hot shower facilities. In reality I was given the opportunity to utilize the entire apartment on my stay. The place was super cool with no disturbing noices or interferences.

The family that lives here has been super kind to us, they have given us recommendations of places to visit and they have brought us closer to their culture. In addition, the breakfast was excellent and they gave us a welcome appetizer. The house is beautiful, it is in a quiet area surrounded by nature and with incredible views. The room was very clean, the beds are comfortable, there is air conditioning and a private terrace. The bathroom is very good and has hot water.

    An absolute gem of a homestay. The hosts were friendly and helpful, the room and the bathroom — spotlessly clean, the bed — comfy, dinner and breakfast that the lady owner cooked for me — filling and tasty. What more is there to ask for?

    The owner were very helpfull, they picked us from the busstation for free. It's possible to get tasty local food (breakfast, lunch & dinner). It's possible to fly the drone from the rooftop or doing Yoga. We would recommend the homestay.
