We started our Sri Lanka trip by coming here and it was the perfect start for us. The hotel owners gave a very warm and caring welcome. They were helpful with everything including travel planning, transportation and information, even after leaving the hotel. The location of the hotel is within walking distance of the temples. The rooms were immaculate and fragrant. Everything we needed was put in the room. It was also very peaceful with a backyard view and bird sounds. In the morning they prepared a very nice local breakfast. In the evening, we had the chance to taste local dishes from their skillful hands. We did not stay in such a beautiful place in the rest of our trip. If we come to Sri Lanka again, it is clear where we will stay 😊

The room was huge the garden was full of vegetation it was like I was in a jungle, the staff was very kind and helpful! The location of the accommodation was very good, everything was accessible by tuk tuk in no time. Sri Lankan breakfast was very tasty with different flavors every day

Great owners, very welcoming and kind. The room was very clean, we had everthing we needed. The house has a nice terrase facing jungle trees where you can spot monkeys and birds. Breakfast was good, location is perfect, close to Dambulla center but on a calm and green street. It is the street going to the cave temple - in about 5-10 minutes you can walk to the temple. Tuck-tuck to Dambulla is about 0.7 euros.

We had a great stay at triangle! The hosts were super kind and took us around for surrounding sightseeings for a whole day. The food was absolutely delicious! The A/C stopped working and they called in an electrician to fix it instantly.

The owner arranged for me to get a tuk-tuk to the tourist attractions, which was very helpful since it was difficult to arrange a tuk-tuk by pickme. Furthermore, on the day I left the inn, he gave me a ride to the bus stop.

Exceptional location in the middle of nature! If you are looking for authentic, relaxed, and (family-) friendly enviorment with traditional home cooked food (no western Menu), then this is the right place to stay! Rooms are clean and the bed are comfortable. Don't overplan your stay here because the guesthouse needs to be enjoyed. There is a small river in front of the house to cool down, two short but very interesting walking tours a day (for free). The owner and his team are so nice and helpful with everything. Doesn't matter if you need transport, laundy or a tour. Thank you for your hospitality! We would definitely stay here again.

This place deserves a 20 out of 10, if that was possible. From being greeted upon arrival with a fresh juice until being bid farewell by the incredibly friendly and professional owner everything was just perfect. Clean big room with all amenities even including a hairdryer. Cozy outdoor seating area. And the most lavish breakfast we were offered on our trip so far. Everything was brilliant! Big rooms with very large beds, air con and fan. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. Ramia and the whole family were so friendly. Ramia organised tuk tuks for us to go to Pidurangala and Sigiriya at 4:30 with a delicious takeaway breakfast. A perfect place to stay in Dambulla and is also very well located.

    Ruan was the most amazing host for this beautiful homestay. We exchanged a lot of stories and had such a great time with him and his family. They cooked amazing food for us, homegrown from their own farm and Ruan sat with us through each meal and we had great conversations with him. Loved out time there and would go back to Sri Lanka only to meet our friend again😊

    Clean bed and spacious room. The food was amazing and the host and his family were friendly and generous. The area was quiet but it was easy enough to get into Dambula town; the home stay was also very close to the cave temple and rock, an easy 15 minute walk.

    Host family are very friendly and kind. They prepared a huge breakfast for us every morning with tea and coffee. They also drove us to dinner when it was raining in their tuk tuk. There are mosquito nets over the bed. The hot water system doesn’t get super hot (which was the same in all our home stays) but it was warm. The home stay is walking distance from restaurants.

    My stay at Pradeep’s homestay was absolutely wonderful. The place is beautifully located offside the busy streets in a rural area. Homemade food, a stroll through the own garden, having a nap in the hammock and a swim in the nearby river - is everything you wish for. I could have stayed for 2 weeks easily. If you are looking for a calm place to ease off, a lovely family home stay and like to experience real life in sri lanka, this is the place to go! it‘s really 12/10.

    amazing host - a family run home stay who welcome you warmly and provide all information and advice you need to make the most of your stay in Dambulla and surrounds. huge and delicious breakfast each morning. host dropped us in town (homestay is a 10 min walk from town) and cave temple in his tuk tuk. stay here - you won’t regret it!
