Wow! We chose this place because it was close to the Immigration office and to the place we were going to work, and because the pictures looked good. I usually take the pictures on Booking with a pinch of salt but at Villa 53 the pictures do not do justice to the beauty of the place! It is all you see and more. We were literally welcomed with open arms as though we were old friends and not complete strangers. Sriyantha and Champi welcomed us into their palatial home with smiles and hugs and a delicious glass of ice cold juice. The rooms are incredibly spacious, with big comfy beds with thick duvets and soft pillows. The bathroom is huge with a walk in shower and a bathtub. The pool in the backyard is big enough to swim laps if you're so inclined, perfect temperature. We sat outside in the evening and enjoyed the beautiful garden, the birdsong and the soft perfume from the flowers. In the morning the ladies made us a wonderful breakfast of omelets and fruit, the first day and a Sri Lankan breakfast the second day. Both were great. The immigration office is a 5 minute walk from the Villa. Very convenient. Sriyanta drove us to a great restaurant in the evening and came an picked us up when we were done! Service above and beyond. We were sorry to have to leave and will definitely want to stay here again when we come back to Colombo. We arrived as strangers (not for long) and departed as (almost) family.

Value for money in the Colombo. It's Very close to the Colombo City and the location was good. It's Very close to Diyatha Uyana park, Port city, Immigration office & Colombo City. Beautiful and comfortable place to stay and relax. The host gave us a warm and friendly welcome and greeted us around 9pm at night. The host is very helpful and accommodate to our special request. We stayed at 2 different rooms and both have their own unique and beautiful decorations. Love both rooms especially the bathrooms very much. Feel like having shower in the nature. It's a good place to stay at the end of our holiday trip and will remember it always.

Great value for the price. Located in a quiet neighborhood, only a 15-minute tuk-tuk ride to the center of Colombo. Amazing hotel! A piece of the jungle in the city center! Monkeys, squirrels, parrots and many more) Everything is so beautiful and authentic. Very welcoming and friendly staff❤️‍🔥 They met and served a welcome drink. We took a room with a jacuzzi, a fabulous room. The room includes slippers, bathrobes, hairdryer, beach towels in a basket and an umbrella. Great pool. Breakfast and dinner were requested in the room. Amazingly delicious breakfast, the hotel cooks delicious food. I’m just in love with this hotel 💔 I will definitely stay there again. Thank you very much to the entire team of this hotel!

I liked EVERYTHING about Sayura house! What an absolute gem! From the warm welcome to the beautiful dog, amazing breakfasts, gorgeous garden, daily checking that everything was okay, family atmosphere, lovely room and the great restaurant.
