It's what you expect from a shared guest house, clean, they were friendly. It's comfortable too, we were allowed to eat our own food in the restaurant area. They had a map of the town with little notes to tell you the best places to visit. They also recommended places where you can eat around town which was helpful.

Staying with Kota and his family was absolutely wonderful! They have a lovely house, everything is clean and comfortable, but more than than that, is the pleasure of staying in a real home in a beautiful place. The absolute loveliest stay I’ve had in Japan. What a delight the hosts are - Glenda is an absolute gem and the loveliest. She used to tour around Japan as a singer! If you’re lucky enough, you can get her to sing a bit for you. Her husband is an incredibly talented chef and cooked us a huge and wonderful dinner - probably the best food I’ve had in Japan. Strong recommend!
