Really very nice stay, the host family is very nice and attentive to details, so our stay was very comfortable. Very clean and easy, there is everything one needs and excellent breakfast. The location is perfect for sightseeing in Himeji. Very good typical Japanese food close by.

Authentic Japanese home fully restored by a lovely couple of hosts. John also does fantastic tours and has extensive knowledge to pass on. We had a lovely time and will definitely go back.

    Travelling through Japan for 3 weeks we will definitely always remember our stay at Shironoshita Guesthouse. Unfortunately we were only staying in Himeji for one night. Tomo-san is a great host, and made sure that we felt at home. If you have questions don't hesitate to ask him. Everything in the guesthouse is very well thought through. If you're looking for a good place to stay in Himeji, this is it.

    Tomo-san was a great host. Everything in the space was well organised and clean and considered. The accommodation is a short walk to a local train line, and within 10 minutes walk to the castle entrance.
