I like our room, it was clean and nice with touch of traditional Japanese room and has a view of the garden and mountain. It is really relaxing trip for us in Hakone. The staff were very friendly and accomodating.

I'm so glad we snagged a room months before our trip! Directly in front of the guesthouse is Mt. Fuji. The location is so peaceful, the complete opposite of the busy cities we've visited like Tokyo. The guesthouse felt like home, especially as the kitchen was so equipped and with so many tokens from previous guests. We appreciated the stack of tourist guides on the dining room table as it felt like we had our own tourist info center there! The owner, Daizen, was kind enough to help us dry our items in the living room post-accident. He was responsive to inquiries. The room was warm and comfy, and had a small machine we can use to warm up our beds.

I liked the cozy room and chill vibes of the place. The place was clean and well-maintained. It was within walking distance from the bus-stop (do take note of bus timings though). The common area in the next door building is a great place to chill and meet other solo-travellers too.
