We loved our stay here! There was parking, the room was large and comfortable. The kitchen facilities were great. There was a coffee machine, cereal, yoghurt and milk.

Set just 1 km from Hornafjördur Airport. Free WiFi access. The Route 1 Ring Road is right next to the guest house. A seating area and work desk feature in all guest rooms at Seljavellir Guesthouse.

Great place to stay next to road Nr 1 in the southeast part of Iceland. Checking in and out is very easy and flexible (self checkin available if you arrive late), the room has everything you need for a few day long stay including: hair dryer, towels, bedsheets, kettle, tea, coffee, TV with english channels, hangers, carpark etc. Maybe a small fridge would be handy but since we were staying there in the middle of November, our car's trunk just did the job 🙂 The room was clean and spaceous for two of us. The crew is very friendly and helpful as well!

The rooms are fairly new, and spacious! Very comfy wool blakets and chairs and good wifi, it was actually nice to spend our evenings in the room after a long day of driving and hiking around. The dinner and breakfasts were ok, but not outstanding to write about.

Everything 110% if one can say so :) There were 3 of us and we booked 2 rooms. The rooms were really neat and clean with spacious bathroom. There was no TV in the room but oh man... the view all around was absolutely stunning. No TV ever needed with a view like this. A small kitchen is onsite with all the necessary equipment. All in all... will definitely book again.

Direct view on the port and easily accessible. Easy checkin. And the owner was very kind. We were unsure about the safety of the roads and she explained us everything and comforted us. Otherwise we would have changed our entire Ring Road trip. She really changed our trip in a positive way.
