A wonderful place to chill! The rooms look well cared for and neat. Sanitary facilities are clean and a lovely bed with a good mattress. Vajjeesh is a great host and enjoys making others happy with his service. The food is freshly prepared with attention and love by the family, which tastes delicious and also looks beautiful. Location is very calm and peaceful. I feel like my own home. They prepared the homemade food for us. It was very tasty and delicious. The warm hospitality of Deepa and care the family puts to making sure all guests treated for an exceptionally memorable trip. We also did a canoe tour, which was amazing.. We couldn't have asked for a better experience Highly recommend!

A gem of a homestay and a gem of a host. From the moment we came to the property, it felt like a little slice of paradise tucked away right next to the water, abs beautiful home away from home! Location is spot on and the owner Suresh was also nice enough to give us his two bicycles for us to explore the island freely. Plenty of space inside and out, all well maintained. Great, homely area outside on the veranda to chill and have food/tea/coffee, which the family is always more than happy to prepare. Suresh will work hard every day to ensure we had everything we needed, including canoe ride, booking transport and also a ride on his very own motorbike around the island's more tucked away corners. We def recommend this homestay to anyone coming to Munroe Island and we hope to return again.
