I must admit that the location of Rai Paul Residency is exceptionally good and it will be continue to be so unless some other building get developed just opposite to it. Within my three days stay, one early morning, I viewed the mighty and beautiful Kanchanjungha from the comfort of my room. The property is also very good value for money in my opinion. The staffs are good and the cook prepares the food very well.

Exploring the lush surroundings, guided by the host, was an absolute delight. The personalized picnic experience, complete with a gourmet basket of local and international treats, made for a perfect day outdoors. The in-house restaurant, Mikoto, offered a gastronomic journey that was nothing short of extraordinary. The most authentic Bhutanese meal I've ever had was a true highlight.
