The hosts were all very kind and made me feel completely at home. They even helped me plan amazing experiences like the houseboat and kayaking trips, which made my stay unforgettable. Every morning, I enjoyed delicious local breakfast dishes that were truly special. The rooftop and balcony offer beautiful views, perfect for relaxing. Aakash and his family were very helpful and kind during our stay. There was nothing that we needed that we didn’t have or couldn’t have help with trying to find. Delicious home cooked breakfast, filtered water (we were relieved to have a few days of not needing to buy plastic bottles) and helpful guidance for the surrounding area!

We feel like stay with our own family in Alappuzha Susan and son is lovely and kindly host. She guided and arranged everthing for us like backwater canoe tour in the morning, tuktuk day rent to hindu temples in suburban of Alappuzha and many othersthings. She also bring us to the city to buy indian clothes. The villa is beautiful and comfort in the quiet places of Alappuzha, walkable to the beach. It's far from the center but Susan can arranged very good tuktuk for us in reasonable price. Homemade breakfast and dinner is very delicious. Susan and son made many Kerala dishes for us to know about Kerala cooking style. We love her Kerala paratha very much.

This is just heaven!! The best welcome I had in Kerala!!! When you arrive here it's like getting home because everyone treats you like family. I spent New Year's eve and was invited to celebrate with the family and friends!! Thank you again once more!!! My room was very comfortable and very clean. The best had a good quality mattress. The bathroom was big and I appreciated the non slippery tiles on the floor!!! The beach is 20 meters away and is like a private beach so beautiful! 50 meters on the beach comes the river and it makes a very nice scenery!!! The food is delicious and freshly prepared on demand by Sunitha who's such a nice chef!! Everyone is dedicated to make your stay very special and I was very grateful for that. The beautiful young girls bring you food with a large smile on the face and the young boys don't hesitate to carry heavy luggage!!

This place is just like home. This is because the family are so friendly. Jiji and Miriam, and the two girls Anita and Alina are so lovely 😍 . This was the first homestay we ever stayed in Kerala and it is definitely on our list to come back. It was an absolute pleasure. Jiji man, we love you. Loved staying at Kalappura homestay! Jose and his family were great hosts. The room was super comfortable, with a very soft bed and a hot shower! There is a nice common area and the location is great. Jose also helped us with booking the boat tour Fientje backwaters. This homestay is clean and comfortable with an uplifting and quirky vibe. Johnson is a lovely host who clearly really cares about the environment. He was kind enough to drive us to a restaurant he recommended and offered to pick us up due to the heavy rain! The price is very reasonable and the other staff members are nice. We felt very looked after.

The host family was so welcoming and kind. They couldn't do enough for us during our stay. They helped us with trip bookings, tuk tuks, and laundry. The breakfast were big feasts! The host made different local dishes each morning. The home stay was in a quiet area, not far from the beach and a few restaurants. The room and living area was really clean - one of the cleanest rooms we've had so far on our trip in India.
