we intended staying for 1 night, but ended up staying 3. this is absolutely the best place to stay in greece. syrrako is an idyllic village without cars, located in a beautiful mountain range. casa calda really felt like home. it’s a tiny secluded piece of paradise, with beautiful, well-maintained and clean rooms, with an amazing garden with lots of flowers, and THE BEST HOST ever. the lady of the house (Poppy) is just the sweetest. she only spoke Greek (her son speaks English but was out of town) but we immediately wanted to adopt her like our grandma. She explained us with hand and feet everything to do around the area (hiking, sightseeing, rafting) and we felt so much at home. the breakfast served by Thomas was great as well our interactions and conversations throughout our stay. this is the perfect place to relax in beautiful nature and I am sure we will be back here! we recommend going in low season, to get optimal piece and quiet

All the appartment was so confortable, with a little kitchen very useful, it was clean, the beds were confortable and the owners were so ni e with us, gave us some homemade sweets and even washed our trekking clothes. Cleopatra ( the owner) invited us to take coffee in her terrace with beautiful views. Everything excelent.

We ended up there by chance, but were amazed by the untouched nature. This is true traditional Greek hospitality. The hostess is wonderful—she doesn’t speak a word of English, but we managed just fine. If you want to experience Greek rural tourism, enjoy beautiful nature, and visit some nearby ancient sites, this accommodation is highly recommended.

Very nice family run the small property with some rooms and a great taverna right in the center of this exceptionally beautyful village . Simple but spotlessly clean and comfortable rooms. The taverna in the same building serves fantastic food - greek home made cuisine at its best! So we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast before our hike and perfect dinner afterwards. The wonderful owners family gave us a feeling of home, as if we would visit relatives!

Beautiful traditional Greek property. Perfectly placed within the village. Great hosts and good food. The addition of the use of a large lounge and kitchen was great for us as two couples travelling together.
