Magical place. The landscapes around are stunning, the room was very comfortable, the common areas (inside and outside) are beautifully decorated and feel very cosy. The hosts were also super nice and welcoming.

The accommodation is in a family home, everything is authentic. We stayed in the attic room with the glass ceiling and terrace, a unique experience. Fresh linen, cleanliness and private bathroom will ensure all the comfort. The hosts are very welcoming and warm, they help you with everything you need. Breakfast and dinner were very good, with products from their own home. From the terrace you can enjoy a breathtaking view, everything green and in the distance the snowy mountains, it was the most beautiful accommodation in Georgia. We communicated very well with Davit, he gave us information about the condition of the roads and about the mountains and trails. Congratulations on what you managed there with your wonderful family! Thank you for everything! Ahh, and I almost forgot, thank you for the very good house wine!

We received a warm welcome from the friendly family who runs the guesthouse, instantly making us feel at home. The guesthouse is in the best location, offering a fantastic view of the Usba mountain from our bedroom window with no obstructions. It's really easy to go on a hike to the Ushbi and Shdugra waterfalls as the road is right outside the guesthouse. We also had the pleasure of meeting their two amazing and super-friendly dogs named Beku and Bobi, who joined us on our hike to the waterfalls and back. The dinner and breakfast were simple but authentic, giving us a taste of the local culture. We want to thank Bacho and the family for their conversations, stories, and kind hospitality. Our parents also visited and were just as happy. We look forward to coming back next time!

Food was good and room was comfortable. Nice balconies (shared and private). The best thing was Nino who was so nice and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and she even dropped us off at the airport herself and wouldn’t let us pay for the journey.

The guest house is simply magnificent!!! Everything is great in it and the hospitable hosts, cozy rooms with simply mesmerizing mountain views. Breakfast is just a masterpiece, it is stunningly delicious and dense (just to gain strength for further hiking in the mountains). We highly recommend this guest house. Special thanks to the hosts.

Phenomenal stay, gorgeous mountain views, comfortable rooms, delicious food and generous hosts + We had a phenomenal stay at Gethauz afrasidze The property is beautiful and remote with gorgeous views of Mts. Ushba and Mazeri; the hosts were immensely generous, accommodating, and flexible and prepared one of the most delicious dinners we had in all of Georgia so we were fueled for long hikes in Svaneti. I’d highly recommend getauz afrasidze for the most idyllic and comfortable stay in Mazeri.
