I loved the cleanliness of the little flatlet, and also smells very fresh, I saw a sign.of aerating the flat by opening the windows. The lodge is not far from Woolwich arsenal for trains to the Central London , South eastern rail and Thameslink that goes to London Pancras and DLR via East London to central London ,Royal arsenal for Elisabeth line and the ferry. The Lodge is in the perfect location. The owner was a very pleasant lady.It is the gem to be at,when one needs a stay.

The property is very clean with en suite bathroom. It's very convenient with location and local stores a few mins walking distance. However the price is good and almost the same as a budget hotel for the night. Which provides certain things to make it easier for a temporary traveller (shower gel, shampoo), a small table by the chair, and even a bedside lamp. Apart from that, everything was extremely comfortable. Easy host slick check in, check out.

Apartment was very nice, clean and comfortable. Bibi is super friendly and kind. We felt very welcome and almost at home. Location is one hour from centre of the city with very good public transport. If we visit London again we will be glad to stay there.

Ruth handled everything for me so well. Right from accommodating my request to stay on the ground floor, to offering free washer & dryer use for our clothes, tea & coffee in the kitchen, and helping me feel like this was a home-away-from-home. There is a fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster & other cooking facilities in a large kitchen, with attached dining & lounge area. The bedroom & entire living areas are kept spotless & appear recently renovated. The bedding was plush & the heating was warm. I was there 1-4 Dec '24 but I would have stayed longer if I'd had the time. The b&b is just a short easy walk from the train station & the road is lined with an assortment of eateries, a cute pub & also a couple of supermarkets just a 1 minute walk away - even with freshly-baked artisan bread. I felt safe behind a high locked gate & the ground floor windows are kept locked too. I highly recommend this place & thank Ruth for the care with which she oversees things. She is a gem!
