We choose Guesthouse the rock because of its proximity to the Rila Seven Lakes. The guesthouse looks new. It was clean and had everything we needed. We spoke directly with the owner, and she made the check-in process very smooth. The guesthouse was very thoughtful. We traveled with out medium size dog, and they provided bowls and a bed it was just a very thoughtful gesture. The guesthouse is located in a cute little town with restaurants, beautiful surroundings and wp close to the mountains. Highly recommend.

Amazing value for money. Each floor has three private rooms that share a small, well equipped kitchenette area. Our room and bathroom were a good size (comfy bed and great shower), and we had a lovely balcony with chairs and table. The whole place was meticulously clean and quiet. The outside grounds were very pretty and well maintained. Short walk down a hill into town for restaurant choices. 30 min drive to the chairlifts for 7 rilla Lakes walk.

The place feels like home, The hostess was very kind. The location is good for going to the Rila lakes - 25 minutes drive. The Rila monestary is also a 1 hour drive. There is a supermarket nearby. (5 minuets walk).

    A lovely spot, only 30 mins from Rila mountains and close to thermal pools. Antonio is a lovely host - despite language barriers we managed to communicate easily, and she kindly gifted us some cake.
