The host was exceptionally willing to help, he gave us a tip for place to eat in town, even contacted his friend when we needed to buy a lightbulb for our motorbike. Delicious breakfast (everything was homemade/homegrown as far as we could tell). Calm location but still only a few (less than 10) minutes walk to the centre of Puke. Wifi worked perfectly. The host spoke good english.

The owners were amazing, warm, helpful and very welcomming. They were just the nicest people, and made sure we had a wonderful stay. I will absolutely stay here again when I visit Albania next time. If you are joining the Shala tours, this is a wonderful place to stay. Breakfast was amazing, and theres a small restaurant nearby were you can have dinner. The facilities are new and 100% clean. We really enjoyed our stay here! The room was spacious, clean and had aircon which was perfect during the heat. The host and family were very kind and picked us up/dropped us off to the ferry terminal. The backyard was a beautiful place to enjoy the complimentary breakfast. Whilst the elderly couple don’t speak English, we managed to communicate somehow and they were just very welcoming and sweet. Got us grapes from their garden when we arrived and were just really nice. The room was very spacious and the bed very comfy. Shower and everything worked fine. The accommodation is just a very short drive to the ferry to Komani lake, so perfectly suited if you want to catch an early ferry.

Facing the seafront in Shkodër, Guesthouse Zgiboza has a bar. The property features mountain and lake views.

I had a wonderful stay at Guesthouse Zgiboza! The hospitality was top-notch, and the family-run atmosphere made us feel at home. The rooms were impeccably clean, and it’s the best in the area for peace and quiet. The food was amazing and very affordable. Highly recommend for a relaxing and enjoyable stay!
