Very nice and clean room in a nice house. And Victor so friendly and helpful. Plenty, tasty breakfast. As we like to stay away from the beaches and prefer walking it is no issue that the property is situated a bit away, along the main road.Not very much sounds from the trafic.

If you re looking for a cool place to stay on Zanzibars best beach you found it. Few meters away from the ocean, amazing breakfast, good vibes. I recomend this place.

Situated in Paje in the Zanzibar region, with Paje Beach nearby, Tamu House Pajé Beach offers accommodation with access to a fitness room. Boasting a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. The guest house features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. The rooms are very nice and clean. I stayed in two different rooms and internet was fast in both. The staff is very nice and the owner was very helpful and accommodating whenever I needed assistance.

The units at the inn are fitted with a seating area. Featuring a private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries, some units at Chokoro House also feature a terrace. All rooms will provide guests with a fridge. Absolutely everything. Great value place with absolutely lovely owners and Staff. The room was fantastic and the owner was even nice enough to come out with us and another couple to show us places to eat and drink in town

The air-conditioned guest house consists of 1 separate bedroom, 1 bathroom with a hair dryer, and a seating area. Guests can take in the ambience of the surroundings from an outdoor dining area. The guest house offers bed linen, towels and housekeeping service. After a month of traveling around Africa, this place was our home away from home for two weeks. For an affordable price, we got everything we needed and more. Juma, the receptionist, always greeted us with a smile on his face and was happy to assist with anything we needed in and outside of the hotel. Augustino, the manager, is practically a local and helped us plan our itinerary throughout our stay. Rooms were cleaned and tidied every morning, and laundry services and a restaurant were provided in the hotel. Pool was perfect temperature, and we could even swim at night thanks to beautiful pool lights. The location is a 5 minute walk from the beautiful Nungwi beach, and right next to the local "Cocobello" club. Miti is beautiful, quiet, and intimate, and we are already planning our next trip!

At the guest house, units have a outdoor furniture. Each unit is equipped with a private bathroom with a walk-in shower, while some rooms are equipped with a terrace and others also offer sea views. At the guest house, all units are soundproof. It was a wonderful place to relax, right by the ocean. Falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the waves was truly special. Olivia and her husband were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel completely at home. The village is small but charming, with a beautiful beach and a few cozy restaurants. Mama Root offers breakfast, and upon request, serves delicious lunch and dinner. While there isn’t a 24/7 kitchen, food and drinks are always within easy reach at the nearby beach spots. Overall, we had an amazing time unwinding at Mama Root. Thank you, Mama & Papa Root, for opening your lovely home to us!

À la carte and vegetarian breakfast options with warm dishes, local specialities and pancakes are available. Guests may eat in the on-site restaurant, which is open for dinner and lunch.

The area is popular for cycling, and car hire is available at the guest house. We will miss everything about being at Mango Beach House, the pool, the sunrises, the team, the food and the relaxed vibe.

Surrounded by banana trees, guests can enjoy a meal at the garden restaurant and a fresh fruit juice or cocktail at the bar. Free WiFi is available. We enjoyed every moment in Zanzistar ☀️ all employees were so nice, helpful and supportive. We loved the area, people, food ... Simply everything. Peter helped us with tours, mainly organized by Kacho and his team. Kacho is great guide, highly recommended. If you wish to spend your vacation with locals and not many tourists, Jambiani is great place to go and enjoy the atmosphere of real Zanzibar ❤️ we THANK everyone in Zanzistar who made our holiday unforgotable!

Offering a restaurant and a private beach area, Helwas Zanzibar Beach Hotel is located in Bwejuu. Free WiFi access is available.

Each room here will provide you with air conditioning and a terrace. Private bathroom also comes with a shower. The hosts, the food and the service were exceptional. Helwas is a small family hotel with a great, friendly atmosphere and top accommodation. We were group of 5 and we had amazing time at Helwas! Located in Nungwi, on the quieter north east coast of Zanzibar, Game Fish Lodge is situated along the beachfront and features an in-house restaurant, bar and a sun terrace. Free private parking is offered on site. The place is very special and therefore might not be right for everyone. I typically don't write reviews, but as the place is so special (and as I just missed a flight ;)) I would like to help directing the right people into the place: Come here if you are looking for: - a very personal experience with your hosts. After a very short time you will rather feel like visiting friends than being at a hotel. - amazing self-cooked food. Breakfast and dinner is also just like friends cooking for you. Collin is an amazing chef. Try his tuna steak. You will get cheaper offers for dinner in local restaurants, but in terms of quality and quantity they can't compete with Collin. Mind that Collin might not cook every night for you (e.g. when rugby is on), so talk early to him when you want to eat at the lodge. - a calm and spacious place in which you can sit directly at the sea in an exclusivity you will not have in all the nearby high-end hotels. You will have a huge property almost for your own. - very nice other guests. People are chilled and it's true what's written in the other reviews. Collin kicks out people who spread negative vibes ;-) - great views and a lonely sandbank. From the sand beach and pool terrace on the rocks right next to the sea and from the terraces of your bungalow you will have amazing views to the sea. Don't come here if you are looking for: - "Zanzibari 5-star service" in which you have a waiter every 5 meters serving you a cocktail and cleaners cleaning your room twice per day. It's just the 2 people owning the place and 1 employee. - A new hotel with a lot of standardization which was just build 1-2 years ago. The place was built over the past 20 years by the owners. Collin used to be in the construction industry himself so everything is built nicely. He does not like edges and standardization, so you will not feel like in a branded hotel. - Sand beaches to swim. Go to the west side of Nungwi.
