A patio with an outdoor dining area and garden views is offered in all units. At the guest house, each unit is fitted with bed linen and towels. I love everything about the property, very close to the village where you can find supermarket, restaurants, and any other kind of tour that I was looking for. 1min walking to the beach , not packed beach and with very chilled vibes, perfect for couples and families. The rooms are beautiful and comfortables, details oriented. Pool just for us anytime we wanted , and the fact that they don’t do the cleaning everyday for the climate impact we found it very ecological and nice, something that we appreciate.

The place is clean and everything was good I will definitely go back again.

All rooms will provide guests with a fridge. The place is amazing, the room is stylish, comfortable and well equipped. Very close to the beach, with free access to the beach through the hotel nearby. The breakfast was delicious.

The air-conditioned guest house consists of 1 separate bedroom, 1 bathroom with a hair dryer, and a seating area. Guests can take in the ambience of the surroundings from an outdoor dining area. The guest house offers bed linen, towels and housekeeping service. Breakfast was great! There were 3 options for breakfast and the portions are good. Next to every option there is a fresh fruit and fresh juice included.

At the guest house, units have a outdoor furniture. Each unit is equipped with a private bathroom with a walk-in shower, while some rooms are equipped with a terrace and others also offer sea views. At the guest house, all units are soundproof. It was a wonderful place to relax, right by the ocean. Falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the waves was truly special. Olivia and her husband were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel completely at home. The village is small but charming, with a beautiful beach and a few cozy restaurants. Mama Root offers breakfast, and upon request, serves delicious lunch and dinner. While there isn’t a 24/7 kitchen, food and drinks are always within easy reach at the nearby beach spots. Overall, we had an amazing time unwinding at Mama Root. Thank you, Mama & Papa Root, for opening your lovely home to us!

What really sets this place apart is the incredibly kind and attentive staff — everyone we met was warm, helpful, and genuinely caring. The manager was especially thoughtful and engaged, making sure everything ran smoothly and that guests felt truly looked after. The hotel also has a fantastic beachside bar and restaurant just a short stroll away — perfect for enjoying a meal or drink with a view of the ocean and your feet in the sand. The food was absolutely delicious — the tuna tartare, in particular, was unforgettable!

It was served in the open dining area with beautiful decor and views of the sea. The staff were absolutely delightful. The location of the hotel is exceptional - right on Bwejuu beach which is quieter than neighbouring Paje. Paje is within easy reach along the beach or by taxi or tuktuk if you need to shop or us and ATM.

Guesthouse No. 1 has five different rooms and one apartment in various categories, ideal for singles, couples, and backpackers. A beautiful view and authentic feeling. The location is quiet but close to shops if you need anything. The staff is very helpful and welcoming! If you're looking for a relaxing stay this is it! Nice breakfast with fresh fruits is a definite plus!

Located in Nungwi, on the quieter north east coast of Zanzibar, Game Fish Lodge is situated along the beachfront and features an in-house restaurant, bar and a sun terrace. We arrived as guests in their beautiful lodge and have left with life long friends. The location is fantastic to explore the island, the food is just delicious.
