There was fruit waiting for us in the room. Super roof terrace. Close to the beach, restaurants, pizzeria and shop. An outdoor shower to rinse off after returning from the beach. Recommended.

À la carte and continental breakfast options with warm dishes, local specialities and pancakes are available. At the guest house, the traditional restaurant is open for dinner, lunch and brunch and serves African cuisine. Everything was really nice. From the beginning, we were feeling at home. The room itself was big and comfortable. Besides that, the food of the restaurant was extraordinary (especially the lobster and octopus). Also the owners made our stay wonderful because of their service.

Chalets Des Vacances, a property with a garden, is set in Takamaka, 70 metres from Anse Intendance Beach, 28 km from Victoria Clock Tower, as well as 28 km from Seychelles National Botanical Gardens. With garden views, this accommodation features a terrace and a swimming pool. The guest house offers rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. We chose this chalet as it has an interesting jungle location, very good grades and a suitable price in the Takamaka area. Adam and Merlin (owners of several chalets in the complex) were friendly and open to advice and to help us (we were welcomed with juice and a huge plate of fruit, one day we were booked into a restaurant, we were also helped to get out of the jungle when we went on a trekking trail to Capuchins beach and got lost). On site, there is a swimming pool with clean and warm water which was very nice to swim in with a baby. We were also offered lovely complementary breakfasts for 15 euros (free for children under 12). We stayed at this hotel on Christmas Day, and were given a (free) Christmas dinner and gifts (this is something of a wow - how can this be). We felt like we were visiting our best friends who appreciated us very much. The great atmosphere from the owners and staff is unbeatable. We stay in an average of 50 different hotels a year (both private villas, houses and 4*-5* hotels) and in most hotels the owners or staff treat guests like water, not doing anything out of the hotels bounds, with strained smiles and standard requests (this is normal). We felt like long awaited and valued guests at this hotel. Fully recommended, a magical experience and unbeatable value for money where quality is so much more.

Offering Creole style architecture and a large garden, Grann Kaz Guest House is set 350 metres from Anse La Mouche Beach. Free WiFi is offered and free private parking is available on site.

Breakfast is available and can be ordered upon arrival. With a BBQ area and sitting area on the ground floor, Grann Kaz Guest House also features a large lounge on the first floor. The property also offered unlimited free local calls. Manager Jagatt is the highlight of my stay. He organizes all transportation and shows me the way to explore Seychelles. The hotel is a very short walk to the stunning beach, and there is a new modern restaurant, mini market, and bus stops nearby, making it a perfect location to stay.

They also help us to get a taxi from the jetty and to the airport, and to go to the supermarket the first day !

Julie's Holiday Home has a shared dining, kitchen and living area on the ground floor. First of all, my girlfriend and I want to say a big thank you to the hosts, mama Julie and papa Barry. They did everything to make us feel at home. We have never experienced such hospitality on our vacation! As for the accommodation, in our opinion it is on a perfect location, not so far from the city as well as from beautiful beaches. The Takamaka Distillery is also nearby. During our stay we have also made friends for life among other guests. We can only heartily recommend it!

Cella Villa provides accommodation with a kitchen, set in Anse a La Mouche. Free WiFi is provided.

Providing a balcony, each unit is air conditioned and offers a dining area and a seating area with a cable flat-screen TV. There is also an oven, toaster and a kettle. The Cella Villa team was so luvly. Shana took very good care of us and attended to all our needs happily. The breakfast was mouth watering and luvly. We also enjoyed a parting dinner a night before our departure.
