When staying at the guest house, guests can use private entrance. This place is so lovely, hidden away from all the noise and crowds, giving you relaxing and peaceful stay. The vibe is amazing, staff is super friendly and the place has everything you need. Beds and rooms are very basic but I slept well and throughout the night no problems, felt very comfortable and because of so many trees around, you won't be woken up early. It's definitely a place to come and leave the stress behind. There is a kitchen to use, fridge, and unlimited filtered drinking water. Lots of space with hammocks , chairs and tables for you to chill out or do some computer work (wifi is good and works well most of the time) You can rent bicycles for cheap , otherwise walk to the town centre takes about 15 mins. There s lots of birds around, friendly dogs and cats to pat and some cheeky monkeys can be seen too. You can order cheap breakfast with a couple of basic food items and if you re lucky and it's the right time, Tony's fruit trees will give you some extra organic food for free. Tony even gave me a lift to the bus station on my final day which was super helpful due to heavy luggage. Very much recommend Tony's guesthouse, it won't disappoint

Located within the UNESCO World Heritage Site of George Town, Ren I Tang Heritage Inn is located in a restored building from the 1800s. Spanning an area of 3 shop house units, the property features free WiFi, a restaurant and small museum on the ground floor, which used to be a medical hall. This hotel is incredible. The history, the ambience and the staff are all amazing. This doesn’t even mention the restaurant which also serves outstanding food - especially for how reasonable it all is.

We started at the Li’s Inn for one night. We choose the room with private bathroom. We love everything about our accommodation. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. The room was clean, comfortable with great bed. Shower was wonderful. We used a kitchen in a morning to snack before our flight. It has everything you need for a short stay. Location is central. Highly recommend this hotel!

The property features inner courtyard and quiet street views, and is less than 1 km from Rainbow Skywalk at Komtar. The guest house has family rooms. What a lovely place to stay in Penang. I absolutely loved the architecture - it has a charming cultural vibe, right in the middle of George Town where you can walk to everything. So many nice restaurants around too (but if you're indecisive like me, just message them on WhatsApp, they reply instantly, even to my very random questions... thank you for your patience!). The staff are genuinely the sweetest. Ashan greeted us on the first day with such warmth, and everyone we met was kind, generous, and just really good people. One even showed my dad how to play a local board game - such a sweet moment ❤️✌️ I feel bad I didn’t ask for all your names. I really should have. But to the whole team, thank you so much for making our stay so easy and memorable. You made Penang feel extra special 💕

Rainbow Skywalk at Komtar is less than 1 km from the guest house, while Penang Times Square is a 18-minute walk away. Penang International Airport is 14 km from the property. Location, hotel and staff were perfect. I appreciated their advise and guidance during my solo trip. Thank you!

A bicycle rental service is available at the guest house. Perfect location in a colonial street surrounded by delicious food, walking distance to George towns attractions. Great facilities such as efficient aircon, water purifier and washing machine, high tech security locking on rooms and door. Very helpful staff who sent great info for Georgetown, checked in on us and provided tasty bread.

This recently renovated guest house is located 500 metres from Wonderfood Museum and 1.3 km from 1st Avenue Penang. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace. We went there for Chinese New Year and got some small presents (🥠)! There was also some small breakfast available and the host helped us with all our questions! The location is the beste and it was the best accommodation in Malaysia! Self check in was super easy and communication was great with the host.

Wonderful quirky guesthouse. This type of older traditional building gave the stay a unique cultural charm. Very helpful and informative hosts. Super cute cats, good snacks, loved it! Super near bus lines, good food, and attractions. This is a place where you stay if you want a cute charming building, love of cats, and wonderful, friendly hosts. Definitely good for solo travelers like me (I'm in my 30s) who value both quiet time with a private room but are also looking to socialize too with the shared eating area where we can chat about adventures together. Hosts gave tons of clear information to all the questions I had and gave great recommendations of beach, temples, eateries, etc. Good aircon, 4 big pillows in my bed, I loved it.
