The fan and opening windows before sleeping made a cool enough sleep. I loved the self check in process as an introvert.

She made our stay super comfortable. The room had everything what we needed. There are two cats which are open to scratches, Nino (one of them) welcomed us every day with some massage, for free!

Magnolia is a very attentive and helpful host. We would have stayed longer if the room would have been available.

Elu was super friendly and helpful with everything. If you wanna some quietness from Centro and get more authenticity of lives of people in Oaxaca, it’s a perfect place to be.

I usually avoid dormitories, but this one was so lovely and clean that I was very happy. There is air-con, but the weather was quite cool so I didn't need to use it as the ceiling fan was fine. The swimming pool is a lovely addition, and the open kitchen is a great place to chat to others. I also found the location to be excellent if travelling by bus as it is a two minute walk, while the beach is about ten minutes if you can find the shortcut!

I stayed for 7 days and the atmosphere is the best I have ever experienced, every day there’s a different activity to bring together the guests, most of them related to mexican culture! Also the breakfast was the best I ever had!

Pool area , general relaxed vibe of the place, very airy and nice in the common areas. Rooms were obviously rustic style but very clean and cleaned well daily. The staff were nice. We had some laundry sent away and arranged for us very easily. We stayed in 2 places in puerto Escondido , one at la playita and another guest house in la Punta area which is actually rated much higher on booking.com however we preferred playita rooms and facilities! Would recommend.
