We didn’t have portable chargers, and we asked if they have any at the hotel, and we got them in less than 10mins. You can easily reach center of Xaghra by foot. Maybe because of a location we recommend to rent a car, but you should rent a car in any location on gozo since traffic is the worst and buses are always late. If you are renting a car parking is not a problem, because you can park on the street and there is a lot of space around and near the hotel. We had a wonderful stay and we will recommend this to everyone who is deciding to visit Gozo.

He helped me organise my Gozo trip by giving detailed recommendations for hikes and even booked a table for me at a restaurant. I definitely recommend staying here!

Run by 2 sisters, Maria Giovanna Guest House takes its name from their mother and grandmother who managed the property before them. One of the sisters is a pastry chef and prepares homemade cakes for breakfast each morning. Everything was exceptional!! Sonia and all the other staff were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing, with lots of local and home made products. The bed was really comfortable, room was very clean. One could see that this guesthouse is run with lots of love. We felt at home and can't wait to come again!
