The property is immaculate and well designed. It was our best Guest house after 3 weeks in Sri Lanka. The staff are welcoming and engaging, the rooms were spotless and spacious with a comfortable bed. The restaurant buffet was fantastic and great value. It has a beautiful swimming pool and is indeed surrounded by nature with bush at your back door . It is in an excellent location. We could not fault this property. It really is a 10 out of 10 and we strongly recommend.

Perfect located in Udawalawe, close to restaurants and not far from the Elephant Transit Home. Janith was an excellent host, making the little extra for us. He even drove us to the Elephant Transit Home in his jeep when we asked him if it was easy to get there by TukTuk. For breakfast make sure to ask him for his mother’s delicious toast!

What an adorable chalet in the middle of nowhere . Gives you enough privacy and makes you feel like a royalty .The owner was extremely helpful and polite . Even though we arrived later than the time decided , we were still greeted with a hot cup of tea and snacks . The place has all the fixtures of a western 5 star resort . The outdoor toilet was by itself a charming experience of the nature . I would highly recommend this place if you want to have a great stay, feel royal , want to experience first hand hospitality of Srilankans and excellent warm breakfast.

Establecido en Udawalawe, a 11 km de Udawalawe National Park, La Casa Safari Resort tiene una serie de amenidades que incluyen un jardín, una terraza, un bar y WiFi gratis. Es un pequeño resort de grandes cabañas perdido en medio de la naturaleza. El servicio fue muy atento, nos prepararon una cena y un desayuno típico buenísimos. La cama era amplia y cómoda y todo estaba muy limpio. También hicimos con ellos el Safari que fue increíble. Nuestro guía fue amable y muy atento, se preocupó en todo momento de que viéramos muchos anímales y tuvo el detalle de traernos agua y merienda. Muy recomendable!

We had a brilliant stay at Hasthi cottage. The cottage was very spacious, clean and had a lovely outdoor bathroom and tub. Outside of the cottage was a lovely outdoor area. The cottage was near to the main road where there were some restaurants and shops. We were picked up from Mirissa and dropped off at Ella which was organised by Dasun and was a good price. In the morning we had a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast which was very filling. A laundry service is offered which we used and our clothes were returned the very next day. We went to the national park for the safari which was an amazing day. We were provided with a delicious breakfast and lunch. Our tour guide Pereira was super friendly and awnsered all our questions. He made sure we had time to watch the animals and helped us to take some incredible photos. Overall an amazing stay and would highly recommend.
