Although the property seems to be high up, actually it is very pleasant for us to walking especially taking a stroll after dinner around the lake …

Featuring views of the pool, all units in the property come with private entrance and a pool with a view. A terrace with an outdoor dining area and mountain views is offered in each unit. At the guest house, all units are equipped with bed linen and towels. Beautiful property that felt like our own little oasis. The room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. The shower was excellent too. Breakfast was served at your requested time and the owner offered to cook us a Sri Lankan breakfast that was really good. The location does require a tuk tuk in and out of Kandy central but you can down load the pick me app to get local rates to keep costs down. Excellent stay and highly recommended.

Some units in the guest house have private entrance and are fitted with desk and wardrobe. Some of the units have a cable flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, and a private bathroom with a bidet and a hair dryer. The whole family were hospitable and ready to help us in anyway. The father would take us & pick us up in his tuk tuk. We loved it so much that we stayed an extra day. There was a small kitchenette, tea, coffee and a fridge.

Situated in Kandy with Kandy railway station nearby, Smile Hub Kandy -Youth Hostel- features accommodation with free private parking. The property has mountain and city views, and is 2.6 km from Bogambara Stadium. Kandy City Center Shopping Mall is 2.8 km from the guest house and Kandy Royal Botanic Gardens is 3.7 km away. The room was spacious and had very nice views of Kandy. The washing machine which was free to use was a huge plus and it was nice having access to a kitchen. Location was also very good and to get into the city centre you could catch the bus for only 30 rupees!!

The units feature a safety deposit box. very adorable and lovely family, they all were very hospitable, helped me a lot with advices. The breakfast by the way was soooo delicious♥️

The vibe is mi casa es su casa, and it is just that. Not many hotels where you are encouraged to wander in the kitchen to watch dinner being prepared. And yes, the food is excellent. So was the room, and the view of the Kandy valley from the infinity pool is not to be missed.

With inner courtyard views, this accommodation provides a terrace. Ceylon Tea Museum is 5.8 km from the homestay and Kandy Royal Botanic Gardens is 6.8 km away. It's a charming old house with relatively basic, but clean and comfortable accommodation. Madam is a welcoming host who sat with us and chatted over breakfast. None of the positive reviews mention the train line behind the house and indeed, on our first morning I was woken at 5am by a train going past (6am the next morning). I can't say it bothered me and it didn't wake my wife. Some negative reviews say there are better value places for the same price. I can assure you that's not our experience in Kandy. Believe the positive reviews and add the morning train and you'll have a good idea of the place.
