Gihan and his wife truly care for all of their guests, looking after their wellbeing and also allowing for independence and privacy. It felt to nice to be well cared for, especially when traveling alone. Gihan can help arrange tours and activities and will take you himself in his Tuk Tuk when available. They have bikes for hire and I enjoyed riding all around Anuradhapura a couple of times. Their food is amazing! In the past they owned a restaurant and it shows. A huge variety and the best food I’ve had in Sri Lanka. I am gluten intolerant and they were very accommodating to my diet. You can tell they care a lot about their business, investing in it and caring for their clients. Extend your stay, you won’t regret it. There’s much to see In Anuradhapura and you’ll not want to leave Corner Cottage.

The owner has used his artistic skills to make this one of the most enchanting boutique property anywhere. The breakfasts were delicious and the location is a short tuk tuk ride to the lake, downtown and nearby restaurants. Even comes with a small pool to cool off in on those hot days. Highly recommended!

At the guest house, units come with bed linen and towels. We lived 2 days in paradise. Harsha the host is very kinds and always helpful. His wife cooked Sri Lankan foods are very delicious. We joined her cooking class. They using most of spices and vegetables they own farm and garden. They planted many fruits ( mango , banana, guava, etc..). It’s a shame we have to leave this paradise. Definitely we will come back next year.

The property is very spacious and in a nice and quiet area. We had a great sleep. The owner was very nice. They have a breakfast and dinner menu if you need. They accommodated all our needs. It's a very good value for money.

The property has mountain and city views, and is 2.6 km from Bogambara Stadium. Kandy City Center Shopping Mall is 2.8 km from the guest house and Kandy Royal Botanic Gardens is 3.7 km away. Big, light and clean rooms! Very friendly and helpful staff! A bit outside of the city centre and therefore quite at night. Which is great in this busy city. Price-quality is excellent!

The traditional restaurant at the guest house serves Asian cuisine, and is open for dinner and lunch. The location is really nice as it is a bit away from the main toad (5min walk). The hosts are the nicest guys, which were ready to arrange everything we have asked for. They have arranged a safari in Kaudulla and then dropoff at the next hotel we were staying. They prepared us the most delicious curry and rice for dinner. Breakfast was also amazing, Srilankan’s pancakes and roti, fresh fruit and fresh juice. I recommend this hotel to everyone and we were sad that couldn’t stay for more nights.
