The guest house is exceptionally clean and well maintained, like a newly renovated premise. The room is equipped with air conditioning and comes with a key for you to lock the door. The location is very well located, just a 75m walk from the busy street, which makes it a clean and quiet place to stay, while having walking access to the different attractions of Matsushima.

The guest house is located in a geothermal area, with a number of hot springs nearby for guests to relax in. It’s easy to go skiing or snowboarding. The lift is just next to the hotel. The hotel owner is kind and funny. I have a great experience here.

I had a very pleasant stay despite it was raining for two days straight. The lady who runs the hotel is also very helpful and kind towards a foreigner like me. Very recommended for people who would like to experience proper Japanese stays.
