Yoko-san is a wonderful host, we were only there for one night but we had some great conversations and she also gave great recommendations about nearby things to do. The guesthouse is quite small, so it feels cozy and we felt very welcome. We were only about 15 minutes from the train station, and there were signs that made sure we don't miss the path to get to the guest house, as it's not right on the road.

The place was clean, the bathroom was spacious, and the futons were very comfortable. I also enjoyed the Japanese traditional breakfast. I would definitely recommend it!

A bicycle rental service is available at the guest house. This was by far my favourite stay of my Japan trip. Not only was the guest house absolutely stunning and tastefully furnished, within very close proximity to the deer park, I was welcomed so warmly and it really felt like home for the night I was there. This is more than just a guest house- this is a beautiful place to bring people from all around the world together.

We loved the attention to detail, especially the vintage record player with Japanese vinyls and how well stocked the kitchen was (oil, spices, rice, coffee etc. - the best we had in Japan!). Staff was very accommodating. Very spacious, perfect for our group. We had to change the group size due to a mistake of our own and it was very easy to resolve, thank you for that. We had a great time!
