The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, always available to assist us with any needs or queries. The property itself was immaculately maintained, with tidy surroundings and daily towel changes and rubbish collection. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and can't thank our hosts enough for their warm hospitality. We highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a comfortable and convenient stay.

Sanjusangen-do Temple is 1.6 km from the guest house, while Shoren-in Temple is 1.2 km away. Itami Airport is 46 km from the property. It was one of the best and cosiest places I ever stayed. Linda really takes care that you have everything you need and you are comfortable, and provides tips to enjoy Kyoto, info about events, etc. It really felt warm and a special experience. We also took the evening tour with Lee around the Geisha neighborhoods and were glad to spot some! Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Kyoto.

Incredible old guesthouse, with a very welcoming host. Had an amazing stay, can only highly recommend!

We stayed in the room with the garden view and loved every moment of our stay. The morning breakfast by the fire overlooking the garden was the highlight of the trip. Haruka also gave us some nice recommendations and tips on what to do in Kyoto during our short stay. To top it off, they even gave us a ride to our bus stop in our last night. They are wonderful people.

Excellent value for money and a ideal location to see many nearby temples and shrines. Lots of nature sightseeing opportunities close by as well. I highly recommend a stay at Kyo-Anthu Inn!

We had everything we needed and Tony was an amazing host, all of his suggestions for activities, food and day trips ended up being the favourite elements of our trip and we met great people along the way!
