Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). I thought this would be just a nice sleepover place and nothing more but it is so beautiful and has a very unique traditional feel that it made our stay on the island so much better. You even get free breakfast/dinner if you don't have time to eat outside and depart early in the morning/ don't manage to fetch a table in a reataurant in the evening because there is limited amount of restaurants that are open in late evening or early morning. The whole house is very authentic and the family that runs the place also offers a little souvenir shop with super cheap prices of local souvenirs, some even locally handmade. Thr staff is super nice and the xommom areas welcoming to spend the evenings in game/living room. Also had beautiful garden and amazing views from the rooms right on the sea

Es un lugar muy agradable donde alojarse para realizar el shimanami kaido de Onomichi a Imabari. La amabilidad y atención es insuperable, hacen sentirte como en casa. Si algún día vuelvo hacer el recorrido espero poder hospedarme de nuevo aquí. También rentan bicicletas por si necesitan el servicio.

Ubicado en Fukuyama, a 8.4 km de Shinsho-ji Temple, Guest house kusunoki（women only） tiene hospedaje con WiFi gratis y estacionamiento privado de cortesía. Guesthouse Kusunoki was wonderful. The guesthouse was quaint, artistic, and impeccably clean. The owner, Katsumori san, is kind and very detail-oriented, and you can tell that he puts his heart and soul into running this guesthouse. I loved my stay here, it was the highlight of my trip.
