The area is popular for cycling, and bike hire is available at the guest house. Very nice guest house in yugeshima. Fullly equipped kitchen and bathroom as shared amenities. Rooms are not big, but very comfortable and nicely furnished. Location is quite out of the way, but the host made sure to pick us up from the ferry and had bikes available to rent.

Best place you could ever imagine to rest and admire the beautiful nature and sea coast in Japan. The kindest lady host in the place, willing to help if you have any trouble. She took care of us, and the food (breakfast, lunch and dinner) were the best. Spacious and beautiful room with the astonishing view of the beach and sea. Also, if you’re willing to visit Tottori’s sand dunes, there is great transport from there. True gem and nothing but positive experience of japanese kindness and hospitalisty. Couldn’t recommend it more!

Towels and bed linen are available in the guest house. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. One of the highlights of our visit to Japan. Beautiful property with a lovely courtyard/garden. Quiet street relative to the main touristy stretch, though close and easy to find. The best part was the owner/host, a wonderful and kind person. He made our stay very comfortable, gave restaurant recommendations, and provided a delicious breakfast. He also showed genuine interest in us and where we were from; our interactions were cheerful.

The house itself is clean, and there's even a free washing machine and dryer for use. For what we paid, we got great value and would definitely stay here again if doing the Shimanami Kaido or even just to visit the island.
