But the whole team are fantastic being attentive and responsive to our needs and requests with smiles at the ready. The inclusion of your choice of breakfast is fantastic and it was the nicest breakfast and cleanest accommodation we had in our month on Sumatra We stayed for 5 nights but would have happily stayed longer. We had to move one night as they were full and stayed at Carolina Cottages but couldn’t wait to get back to a much more welcoming and flexible vibe at Hub Tata If you want peaceful lakeside spot and a lovely vibe with helpful good people and a delicious breakfast this is your place! Asim Paris Guesthouse & jungle trekking has a garden, private beach area, a terrace and restaurant in Bukit Lawang. Boasting a concierge service, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, room service and free WiFi. The family room was spacious and aircon runs cold. Although there isn't hot water for shower, the staff brought us buckets of hot water each day, and that was adequate to bathe my child. They also arranged the jungle trek for us, we were able to trek directly from the guest house. It's also located very close to the bat cave, 10-mins walk and we highly recommend visiting these caves, and with a local guide hired at the entrance. Without the guide we wouldn't have known where to go.

There is a private bathroom with shower in some units, along with bathrobes, slippers and free toiletries. At the guest house, each unit is fitted with bed linen and towels.

A bicycle rental service is available at the guest house. Great stay! Lovely family run homestay.Robert was so helpful, from the moment I booked. Great communication and information on things to do in the area. Great view. Lovely restaurant close by.

This beachfront property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The accommodation offers airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. My room was just on the river bank and i can just sitting there watching the river whole day.

With mountain views, Sumatra Orangutan Discovery Villa is situated in Bukit Lawang and has a restaurant, full-day security, bar, garden, sun terrace and picnic area. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The rooms are fitted with a balcony with garden views and free WiFi. Everything was perfect. Family and staff was incredible friendly and very helpful. The trekking was amazing. I saw a lot of animals in the jungle. The Bungalows are beautiful. The surrounding peaceful. Located in Bukit Lawang, Gino's Place - Guest House & Jungle Trekking features a garden, terrace, restaurant, and free WiFi throughout the property. There is free private parking and the property provides paid airport shuttle service. Nice and clean accomodation. Quite near to the bus station, placed in calm environment of rice fields away from the noise of motorbikes.

All units at the guest house are equipped with a seating area. The guest house provides certain units that include sea views, and every unit has a private bathroom and a desk. The units will provide guests with a wardrobe and a kettle. Borja and Yuyun are excellent hosts that offers you the warmest welcome that you can imagine. They are very kind and help you with any and every question you might have about the place and the island. Every single item in the rooms were well thought. Room was very clean. Having a mini fridge, boiler in the room was great to have. Location is fantastic as it's a bit remote in the island which offers you a calm place to relax. Having the ocean right beneath you is remarkable. Food in the restaurant which is running as a side business, "La Boca Chica", was a great surprise for us as it really exceeded our expectations for taste and variety. We were not comfortable to ride scooter and Borja was kind enough to give us a practice session which shows how far they are willing to go for helping their guests!

At the hotel, every room is fitted with a balcony. At Sahnan Guest House the rooms come with a private bathroom. We highly recommend the place ! Andri was very kind and helpful. He arranged transportation to/from Bukit Lawang. He also arranged a day trip to the jungle with our guide Jhony whom we recommend as well! The place is by the river and absolutely lovely.

The 2 guides Rian and Santa were the best guides I’ve encountered anywhere in all my years of traveling. They were so kind, funny and thoughtful. The food on the trek was phenomenal and it really was a wonderful experience. The property is great, with a beautiful lush green garden.

Guests can make use of the sun terrace or the outdoor fireplace, or enjoy views of the mountain and river. Kupu Kupu Garden is nestled amidst the jungle, directly beside the river. It's approximately a 15-minute walk to town (30 minutes from the car drop-off point). Our room featured a balcony and a hammock, providing a delightful spot for relaxation for all of us.
